Motorcycle & Scooter rentals in Chile

I rented a motorbike with Ride Chile in October 2023 and rode solo from Santiago to the Atacama Desert. I was just going through some photos and remember how great these guys were, so I thought I'd write a review... Before arriving, I had planned my own trip, but Thomas and Ana gave me so many great tips that my ride ended up completely different, and much better than what I’d originally mapped out! I had checked prices from every rental place I could find in Chile, and theirs was the best. When I arrived at their shop (which is actually in a residential area), I explained my plans, and they pointed out a few issues. For example, some of the roads I planned on riding were quite boring, some of the places I planned on staying were either unsafe or uninteresting, and I was missing out on so many other beautiful places. They actually sat down with me and helped rewrite my whole trip. Tom had an amazing knowledge of the area, he told me about places I had never heard of through my searches online. He tailored it to exactly what I was after. I saw so much nature, rode through national parks, along the coast, through mountains and stayed at so many beautiful towns I wouldn't have found otherwise. I didn't end up crossing borders, but they let me know about the rules, permits, fees etc in case I change my mind - things I had no idea about before talking to them! Tom mapped out my route and sent it to me in a file that I could download to my phone. They helped me out with riding gear, phone mount, charger, bags and straps. There were no issues with the motorbike at all throughout the whole trip. They even put on a new set of tires as they knew I was going off-road quite a bit. Being a foreigner, It really made a difference having some locals that I could trust to help you out. They were even checking in with me along the way to make sure I wasn't having any issues.

The rental shop is a great outfit to rent motorcycles from. The person I dealt with was fantastic. Friendly, honest and great with organizing my Chile motorcycle trip. I rented a KLR 650. It was in good condition and was clearly serviced regularly.

Amazing two weeks, great people, motorcycles and service! We are a group of 5 couples, planned to do Patagonia, men on motorcycles, wives in cars. We checked several options and decided to go with the rental shop. The team helped us plan the route, book hotels and activities explaining options and highlights. They made sure we are capable of doing the route we choose and also know what to bring and expect when we arrive. We rented Tigers and Africa Twin, motorbikes were in good condition and issues we had were handled quickly and timely without affecting the plan. The guide joined our trip and has many years of experience riding, fixing, a great sense of humor and was very open to changes we wanted to do along the route. Another team member was in the pickup escorting us in case something goes wrong (it did not) and made sure everyone found the way even if we opened big gaps from the cars. Some of the hotels were high end and some were very basic. Overall we were happy with the choices. Bottom line - if you plan on doing Patagonia on a motorcycle, alone, in a group, all in or anything else, look no farther, the rental shop is your final stop! Thank you to the team!

The rental shop delivered an unforgettable Patagonia motorcycle adventure with outstanding support from the team. The guide is phenomenal: extremely skilled on and off-road, calm and confident in every condition, and he kept the group laughing the entire trip with his great sense of humor. The mechanic handled every technical hiccup-like a flat tire and a brake disc replacement-quickly and professionally, so the issues barely impacted our day. Every morning the motorbikes were prepped, checked, and ready to go, which made the long days in Patagonia's variable weather much more enjoyable and stress-free. The overall service from the rental shop was simply awesome: well-organized days, reliable motorcycles, and a support team that clearly cares about both safety and fun. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a serious yet enjoyable motorcycle expedition in Patagonia.

I had a fantastic experience renting a motorcycle from the rental shop. From the first contact through to return, everything was handled professionally, fairly, and with genuine care. The motorbike (a brand new V-Strom 800) was in excellent condition and performed flawlessly across highways, mountain roads, dirt tracks, and alpine terrain. When I had a tyre issue mid-trip, the team was responsive and helpful, and the repair was handled quickly and transparently. On return, the process was smooth and stress-free. The motorbike was checked, a condition report completed, and my security deposit was refunded via PayPal without any hassle. The staff were especially helpful and welcoming, and communication was clear and fair throughout. What really stood out was the human side - these are good people who understand riders and real-world travel, not just a rental transaction. I'd absolutely rent from the rental shop again and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking to explore Chile by motorcycle. Thanks again - outstanding service.
