I rented my scooter from Mango Scooter and everything worked perfectly! The booking process was simple, and the service was very friendly and reliable. What I especially liked was that they even offer a pick-up and drop-off service, which makes everything much more convenient. The scooter was in excellent condition and riding it was a lot of fun. They also offer many other services, which I think is really great. You can tell they put a lot of value on good customer service. I can definitely recommend Mango Scooter and would rent from them again anytime!

Extremely friendly and accommodating. We were picked up directly from our hotel and also brought back afterwards. The scooter was up to date and in perfect condition. If you need a scooter, don’t bother checking anywhere else - this is the place to go! The price, service, quality, communication, and overall process were all incredibly smooth, which is exactly what you want while on holiday. Special kudos to Marlon, who went above and beyond. Not only did he rent me an excellent scooter but he also took the time to give me a few refresher lessons to help rebuild my confidence. He even picked me up from my hotel and dropped me off (despite it not being included), shared an interactive google map with all the best hidden local spots, checked in to make sure I was doing fine and was genuinely kind throughout the whole experience. Humm WOW!!! Where do I even begin? By far the best way to get around the Manuel Antonio area! Those off road scooters are just awesome...I went everywhere with it : on the beach, on secret trails and up the mountains for the best views and adventures! But that's not even the best part... Marlon!!! This guy is THE man. Always on the phone, ready to help, recommendations, secret spots, booking tours, getting you out of trouble, you name it. When you book the scooter for a couple days, he will first give you a scooter tour showing you all the spots, where to park and how to get to the more hidden areas. Then he gives you a PDF documents with ALL the best recommendations for restaurants, activities and places to go explore on the scooter. And like this isn't enough, you even get it on an interactive map on google! 110% worth every penny! Customer service at it's best. I was just looking for a easy way to get around, but I found the best adventures, I'm seeing so much more of this area then what I would get from searching the internet and tourist agencies! Best of all, I made a friend for life! Thanks Marlon! I will be back with friends ASAP! PS. This doesn't even give justice to how I'm feeling...I am so grateful. The universe gives back! Thank you.

The best scooter rental in the area, hands down! Starting with the owner. Very knowledgeable and a motorcycle enthusiast 🏍. It was our first time riding a scooter, but he took the time to explain the basics to ensure our safety and enjoyment. The equipment (the scooters) are in very good condition, with USB chargers, all in perfect working order. Marlon shared tons of suggestions for places to visit and explore. It was definitely the highlight of our visit. Super fun...

Such a cool experience. Marlon was super helpful and being able to contact him through WhatsApp was great. The roads between Manuel Antonio and Quepos were a bit tricky if you’ve never drove a scooter/motorcycle before but besides that section the roads weren’t a problem. Definitely recommend the off-road scooter because there were some side streets that were not fully paved. Fitting two bigger dudes on one was a bit tricky, might recommend getting separate scooters.

Awesome scooter and great service. This was the best way to get around in Quepos (every two minute cab ride is like 10 bucks!!!). You can see everything Quepos has to offer when you want to see it. Scooters are the best way to get around in town, traveling to the beaches and the nearby forests. Even took a few longer trips to nearby attractions. These scooters are nice and affordable. Service back and forth to hotel on pick up and drop off. Made our trip so much fun.

Renting a scooter from Mango Scoot was a great way to get around Manuel Antonio. The scooters were in excellent condition especially considering the condition of the roads. Having a scooter made transportation much more convenient compared to relying on taxis which overcharge like crazy. Also, the private tour is highly recommended. Marlon took us to areas of Manuel Antonio we wouldn’t have discovered on our own.

Rented a scooter from mango scoot for an entire week and I have to say it was the best decision that I made on my entire trip. It was a fabulous way to get around and explore the city and Marlon was so welcoming and helpful for making our experience safe and enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the area.

Unreal time with Mango Scoot Was such a help and went above and beyond. Scooter was perfect to get around everywhere and definitely made a difference. Mango also helped us so much with transportation around Costa Rica and the driver was the nicest person:). Good price from Manuel Antonio to Monte Verde. I would highly recommend this as it’s very hard to get around if you’re travelling with surfboards. Thank you so much 🙏🏽

The place was a bit hard to find at first (it’s the big red gate), but the experience was amazing. The scooter was perfect for riding around Manuel Antonio. Plenty of power to get up the hills and strong brakes for going back down. Would love to try again sometime!

We rented a scooter from MangoScoot for an entire week & Marlon was awesome!! He was very helpful, we were always able to reach him at any point in the day & he was usually the one to reach out to us with information. He showed us a beach where we could ride the scooter onto & (kind of on accident) gave us a really awesome first day in Costa Rica! What an amazing experience and guide! When I ordered a scooter, I thought I was only getting a set of wheels, but what I got was a friend for life! Marlon not only gave me a tour of Manuel Antonio, but also helped me out throughout my entire trip, giving me local restaurants and secret spots to visit. I have had the opportunity to share with Marlon on two occasions. Incredible experience and person, highly recommended for adventure enthusiasts looking to do something different in Manuel Antonio. Marlon starts by giving the basic guidelines on how to ride the scooter and the safety rules, he makes you practice before actually going out on the road. We went to visit a lot of super nice places that I didn't know about in the area, we climbed challenging hills, we passed near the entrance of the national park on some trails and he recommended an excellent place for lunch. Super grateful, I will definitely be back soon.

It was worth it just to be able to ride into Quepos from my hotel in Manuel Antonio. It’s a 3 km (1.8 miles) walk or 40 minutes according to Google. Distance will vary according to your hotel. I appreciated that the paperwork could be completed online with only 1 contract signed in person upon arrival. My deposit was refunded immediately within an hour of returning the scooter. My only complaint is that the scooter is challenging to park. It’s not a kickstand; it’s a center stand that can only deployed from the left side. By day 3 I was starting to get the hang of it. Other than that, the scooter is great. The throttle was responsive, leaning into turns felt safe, and the brakes worked well (watch out for the one random speed bump on the 618).

We rented 2 scooters and were satisfied. Taking a scooter was the best decision. You will be able to visit the most inaccessible locations. We will definitely come back for new experiences.

I don’t even know where to start… I could not have asked for a better experience with MangoScoot and Marlon! From the start, he was so willing to help with anything and everything we needed on our trip. Marlon is super outgoing, easy to communicate with, and fun! He coached my best friend and I for hours to prepare us to ride the scooter from very little experience. He went out of his way to set up exercises to build our confidence until we were ready. The scooter itself was so fun to ride around and we had a blast! Apart from the actual scooter experience, Marlon was always there for my friend and I throughout our trip. Only being teenagers, he ALWAYS made sure we were safe and gave us the best recommendations for where and where not to go as he is super knowledgeable about the area. He also accompanied us when we wanted to explore new places for our safety. We became such close friends in a very short amount of time and I could not be more grateful. He made sure we had the best trip possible and put in so much effort for us to enjoy our time. From taking us to the farmers market, to having breakfast delivered to our airbnb, to even taking us on a road trip to the mountains where he grew up, we could not be more appreciative for everything he’s done. I’ve gained an amazing friend and now I can’t wait to come back!! I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to have the time of their life!

Great Experience! Highly recommend as a first thing to do when you arrive to Quepos, ask for the tour and you will be setup for the rest of your trip. You will be shown the city where the locals go and how to avoid the crowds, best views in the city and best places to eat. The scooters are brand new and run great. There is a $450 deposit but you get that immediately upon returning your scooter. Just an amazing experience.

This was honestly the best rental experience I have ever had with any thing for several reasons. 1 The owner himself super friendly guy and and the quality of service he has is off the charts!! 2 You get more than just a motorbike rental he has a tun of local knowledge and is more than happy to share it with you. Honestly I would of been happy to pay how much I payed for the scooters just for his tour/ guiding services 3back to those guiding services he had some free time that day so we took a ride together and he took me to places that I would of never stumbled on myself. Not only is that awesome but best service ever has some free time. Just took me for a rip 4 I have rented scooters and motorcycles from several places in costa rica and and have gotten motorbikes in all sorts of conditions (mostly neglect) but these motorbikes were in top shape. The owner takes great care of them and services the things that matter the right way things that I actually care about like breaks and tires you know the type of things that keep you from crashing. 5 when I was done with the scooter as posed to having a friend come pick me up or call a cab he was headed to where I was going any ways so he just said hop in and dropped me off on his way Honestly I don’t know what to tell you there are 2 places to rent in town and I checked them both out. mango is a little more expensive than the other place but well well well worth it. hands down not even a question you get more bang for your buck here. If you want to spend your time and money somewhere This is the place to do it. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I have never felt the need to leave a positive review ever before in my life but this guy went so far above and beyond there’s no way I could not leave an actually review ps if your 50/50 on getting one. to really explore the area you need wheels theres to much to see you need one.
