I took a business trip to Germany in September 2017 and wanted to rent a motorbike for the weekend. A couple of sites came up when I searched. I picked Motorradvermietung because they have the 1290 Super Duke that I've been wanting to check out for a long time. I was a little concerned at first when I drove past the address and didn't see an actual store front, but decided to proceed with the rental anyway - because I really wanted to find out about that motorbike. I am very glad that I did. The level of service that Stephan provided is not something you see a lot of any more. Especially at this price. Everything about the process was excellent. He personally delivered and picked up the motorbike from my hotel. The motorcycle was top notch quality and condition and he even provided GPS and wet weather gear for me. Stephan is extremely personable and professional. The whole rental process is legit - although the rental documents were in German, so until he gets these translated into English, I would advise that you either have a good German speaking ability, or you bring a friend who can explain the terms. In the end, the terms are very typical rental terms and there were no surprises. You can rent with confidence knowing that if you break it you will be responsible for it - like any other rental would be. The motorbike itself was also unbelievable. This was a 2016 1290 Super Duke GT, so it had the touring bags, etc. I traveled to central Germany with a buddy and had a BLAST! The motorbike is incredibly responsive, great in the curves and solid on the highway. The engine has gobs of power and does not leave you wanting more. The heated seat, heated grips and cruise control all came in handy as we got dumped on by rain on the way back to Hamburg. I give Stephan and his motorcycles a very enthusiastic thumbs up and would rent from him again without hesitation. Motorradvermietung has my highest recommendation.

I rented a KTM1290 super adventure. Super motorbike with all nice features that you need to make it comfortable and a lot of fun. The owner Stephan Ruhle made a nice introduction to the motorbike before departure. He is extremely service minded and make sure you get a good start on your journey. I can for sure recommend to go here to rent your motorbike for your next adventure.

We hired KTM Adventurers for a week for a tour of Eastern Germany. The motorbikes were fantastic, very well prepared and very well equipped with everything you could need on a motorbike tour. Excellent service, high quality motorbikes and equipments to rent. Stephan the owner is super friendly and flexible in arranging your rental. We rented the BMW R1250 GS and drove around 730 km in 2 days. The motorbike was comfortable and smooth for long drives and also for a second passenger. We had a great experience and will definitely be renting here again. 😊

Outstanding Service! A+ I rented a KTM 1290 Superduke GT through Stephan for 2 weeks over May/June 2018. The service from Stephan was absolutely outstanding. Prior to arriving in Hamburg for pickup we exchanged information via email over 20 times. Stephan was very quick to respond and very helpful with the questions I had. Upon arrival the motorbike was out the front in perfect clean condition with all of the bags attached as advertised. Stephan also provided coffee and cakes to have whilst filling out the paperwork, which was very welcome. Overall Stephan was knowledgeable and professional all whilst maintaining a good sense of humour in his non native tongue (English). Stephan went above and beyond and at last minute request accomodated storage for some excess baggage in his shop and the rental of some riding pants. I loved the motorbike so much that during the trip I wanted to give her a wash! Its safe to say that this was the best rental experience I’ve ever had and I’ll be recommending his business to my friends and will be renting from him again in the future.

Awesome and super cool place to rent a motorcycle from! Stephan is super cool and has got a very nice collection of adventure/adventure tourer and dual sport motorcycles. He is very amicable and may even let you in on some nice nearby places 😉. Overall a very positive experience from renting a BMW F 750 GS. Will definitely rent from here again

What can I say about Stephan and the service provided? To say it was exceptional is really doing him a disservice. Stephan was engaging and helpful from the outset and made the whole motorbike rental experience very pleasurable. He goes above and beyond in renting you a motorbike, he helped us with equipment, suggested routes and even came to find one of our party who got lost. We will for sure be back and if you are thinking of renting a motorbike in Germany, Stephan is your man for KTM's or BMW's. I feel that the fact that the KTM was almost new and in brilliant condition, is a side note the Stephan's service. Thank you from us all Stephan.

We saw a video from Stephan on YouTube, contacted him and booked our first European motorcycle tour with him. All expectations were up to 10, we were very happy with the tour. We drove around 4 countries about 1.700 km in 1 week. Got new motorcycles and new outfit and all service was 100%. Many thanks for everything Stephan!! Super experience and will definitely rent again from Stephan should I visit Hamburg again. For a two day layover I was supplied with a new KTM Super Adventure S and very good and warm protective gear for a very chilly Spring; all organised at very short notice. Stephen's service was truly excellent, for example, the trains were running at a reduced service so he personally picked me up from another station, he went out of his way to supply me with ride routes to input into the GPS for my two days. Stephan could not see me when it came to drop off the motorbike so he got his friend to do so who also gave me a lift back to my hotel some miles away. My. best rental experience thus far.

The best place to rent a state of the art motorcycle for an amazing trip to Norway. Stephan is a great profesional, very helpulf and their motorcycles are in excellent condition. We highly recommend Stephan and team from Motorradvermietun, Hamburg for independent or group motorcycle hire. The communication (to NZ) from Stephan has been excellent throughout our planning and Stephan responded to all our requests, also gave lots of extra great advice for our 15 day ride around Norway. Stephan shared video links and suggested itineraries to help our planning. We are NZ based and decided to hire a full set of quality riding gear (Klim) along with motorbike. Stephan provided fitted sizing from the Boots to Helmets. The late model KTM 1290 adventure sport (cruise control great) was well prepared and equipped with secure side luggage and big top box, ample for our two up trip. We did 4000kms and made it from Hamburg to Trondheim, and back via Denmark and Sweden. Norway riding was an absolute delight, not fast (80-100kph) lots to see, beautiful country and many Fjord ferry crossing, many many tunnels, for the ferries get the FerryPay app (from ferry, or they will approach you to make one off payments - very friendly tho). Denmark and Sweden was often very windy riding (land of wind turbines) but necessary motorway travel to get quickly to Farsund. Thanks Stephan and Janine for the experience, and MotoGP Sachsenring tips (which is a must for road race fanatics). Hope you get to NZ come and see us. Best Ralph & Julia

I can highly recommend Stephan and his rental company. I have travelled over from the US twice to do moto trips out of Hamburg, one on the l KTM 1290 and the other on the BMW GS 1250 and each time Stephan has been very professional and friendly and the motorbikes are well maintained and ready to ride. He even suggested me the Motovibes route for my recent trip to Norway, which was fantastic. If you need European motorbike rental, go here! You will not regret it.

Rented a KTM 890 adv from Stephan, and had a great trip up to the Scandinavia. Not only does he offer a collection of adv motorbikes, but he also has the best gear/gadgets you can get for long moto journey. Stephan was super friendly and responsive via emails. Will definitely come back!
