Santorini's beach resort of Kamari is located on the island's east coast, approximately 15 minutes from the capital and around 10 minutes from the airport, making it a convenient location for whatever your needs may be. The disadvantage of Kamari is that it is not located on the caldera side of the island, which means that you will have to go to Oia, Fira, or one of the other villages on the west coast in order to enjoy the beautiful views. However, when you hire a motorcycle or scooter, that won't seem like too much of a trial!
The resort does have one of the nicest beaches on the island. Kamari Beach is wide and long, and it offers a plethora of attractions such as water sports, rows and rows of sun loungers, and a variety of tavernas to keep you well fed and watered throughout your stay. A significant number of restaurants are located along the seafront, allowing you to enjoy your meal while taking in the views.
Also available are supermarkets and souvenir shops, so whatever it is that you need, you can pick it up. There are many attractions in and around Kamari, and it is in an excellent location, being close to the airport and thus having short transfer times, as well as being close to the archaeological site of Ancient Thera and the Open Air Cinema. It is also easy to travel from Kamari to the other towns, villages, and attractions of Santorini, as it is fairly central.

Yes. The vast majority of our rentals include basic insurance, local taxes and any road fees. You have the option to add 'extras' (ie. One-Way rental, GPS, GoPro, etc) but we'll clearly list any additional costs involved before you book your motorbike/scooter.
In most occasions the maximum you might be charged is the security deposit. If you included Premium Insurance with your booking, then your security deposit will be protected. When you pickup up your rental, our local rental partner will explain the procedure to follow and emergency contact details in the event of an accident - your safety always comes first.
