There are many outstanding islands in Greece, but even on that long list, Paros stands out from the crowd. Part of the Cyclades group of islands, Paros is heavily frequented by travellers during the summer months and shoulder seasons. Along with the stunning beaches and tranquil local life, one appealing element is the ease with which you can reach the island; it’s easily accessible via Paros Airport and Paros Port.
If you have a quad hire or scooter hire, you’ll be able to explore the many attractions that the city offers. The most intriguing attraction on the island is Panagia Ekatontapiliani, which dates all the way back to the 4th century. Parikia, which is where the port is located, is where you’ll spend a lot of your evenings; it offers bars, restaurants, and a great sunset.
With a quad hire, you’ll be able to reach the centre of the island (you can also walk there), where you’ll find Lefkes, a cute town that has the best view of the sunset. In the north of the island, you’ll find Naoussa Old Port, a small fishing village that offers visitors one of the best sunrise vantage spots on the island. The best beach on the island is Marcello Beach; despite offering beautiful water and clean sand, it always remains pretty calm and quiet.
Take your rental scooter, and within ten minutes of leaving the port, you’ll have the beach to enjoy. Other areas in the region worth exploring include Naxos, Santorini, Ios, Syros, and Mykonos — but whichever one you choose, you'll be able to explore them in style with all the scooters, quads, and motorcycles available to rent online on Riderly.
To book your motorbike/scooter/quad online all you need is a credit or debit card. When you pick the motorbike up, you'll need:
