Stalida is a coastal village on the Northern edge of the Greek Island of Crete. The closest airport of the three Crete has to offer is Heraklion Airport N. Kazantzakis, which is also is located in the capital of the island and only 29kms away from the village of Stalida. Stalida is a holiday resort town and has a great beach with shallow waters that are perfect for all the family.
Along the beach are a wide range of bars, taverns, restaurants, and souvenir shops. The weather is typical of a Greek Island with warm balmy evenings and plenty of sea and surf. With its close proximity to the capital Heraklion and the fantastic coastal road with plenty of places to stop off, it is the perfect opportunity for any motorcycle enthusiasts as you can easily hire a motorcycle or a scooter to make the most of this trip.
On the coastal road, you can stop off at the Lychnostatis open-air museum, the Παλαιοχριστιανική Βασιλική Καστρίου historical landmark, as well as wherever, takes your fancy along the beach. The warm air coursing around you, with that freedom you get on a motorbike in such as beautiful landscape, is second to none. When you get to Heraklion, there are so many things to take advantage of.

Yes. The vast majority of our rentals include basic insurance, local taxes and any road fees. You have the option to add 'extras' (ie. One-Way rental, GPS, GoPro, etc) but we'll clearly list any additional costs involved before you book your motorbike/scooter.
In most occasions the maximum you might be charged is the security deposit. If you included Premium Insurance with your booking, then your security deposit will be protected. When you pickup up your rental, our local rental partner will explain the procedure to follow and emergency contact details in the event of an accident - your safety always comes first.
