We did the tour to the Pacaya volcano. Our guide was super friendly and did a great job making sure we had a good time. Cool to see the lava flow at Pacaya mountain and then later see it from below. It’s a good mix but of driving up the vulcano, walking around the Pacaya vulcano and the ATV drive to the lowest spot of the lava and see the town just next to Pacaya. I definitely recommend this company.

This tour actually exceeded my expectations. My friend and I were so happy we chose to spend our last day in Antigua on the mountain atv tour. Esteban, our guide, was AWESOME! Super knowledgeable, personable, patient and made us feel very safe every step of the way. I’m a chicken about adventure sports lol but riding the ATV was such a beautiful way to see places like cerro de la Cruz and hobbitenango. We were a group of 5 which felt nice and intimate. Esteban even helped us take some awesome pics (a lot haha). Got back a little late but honestly I couldn’t get enough. Do it :)

Amazing tour company with the most amazing tour guides! The ATV coffee tour is 110% a must do in Antigua. We did 4 different tours in the city and this tour and company was by far the best customer service and well setup logistically than any other we did. ATV tour through the city was setup with 2 guided who ensured our safety through traffic and the tourguides were insanely knowledgeable about the entire coffee plant to coffee bean production. Highly highly recommend!!!

Enjoyable ATV coffee tour in Antigua but having Eric as our tour guide made it. He was extremely knowledgeable on the history of coffee production in Guatemala and shared some of his family stories and experiences in the coffee industry which added a personal touch to the tour. He went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable experience and we were lucky to share a beer with him at the end of tour learning more about Antigua and Guatemala.

Great place for renting motorbikes and quads as well, they’re absolutely honest and helpful. I considered to rent a motorbike and we talked all my plans through, I also could check the motorbikes before. Unfortunately the motorbike wouldn’t fit my travel plans, I really appreciate their honesty.

Absolutely wonderful tour!!!! The best ATV tour I’ve been one. Our guide, Nehemias, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He made the experience somehow even better! The tour takes you through different parts of the city and up into the higher areas of the surrounding area, beautiful views. It was a bit cloudy and rainy for us, but Nehemias had ponchos for us that he offered. He also offered we slightly adjust our route to make the tour more pleasant due to the rain, but left it fully up to us, informing us fully on the two different options and letting us pick what we wanted. Great company, beautiful views, lots of great riding!!!! Even with the clouds/fog, the tour was still magical.

Highly recommend this tour company! We did the Pacaya ATV tour - just the best day, the views were unreal. Everything went smoothly, super organized, ran on time and informative! Our guide Alejandro was the best! Super friendly and made the tour super enjoyable. Oh, and lunch was super delicious.

What an amazing ATV tour!! We stopped by so many towns and got to experience the views, coffee, weaving, chocolate & pottery in Lake Atitlan! Shout out to the best guide, Yeshua! Definitely recommend you ask for him if you plan to utilize their services! He was extremely professional, fun & my girlfriends and I felt completely safe with him. (Plus, he’s a great photographer so you won’t have to worry about taking pictures & can enjoy the experience 📸 ) Muchas gracias!!

Great tour guides! The ATV to Pacaya volcano is NOT for the inexperienced or for those out of shape. I had done an ATV on mostly flat sandy terrain. This is NOT that. It was a fantastic fun experience. Highly recommend. Just not for those that are not comfortable with an ATV or never been on one!

Another 10/10 tour with Simoon Tours! I was blessed to take two ATV tours in Antigua through this company and now that I am at Lake Atitlan I just had to do another! Simoon's guides are all so professional and friendly, they are easy to communicate with and understanding/flexible with each traveler's needs. My favorite part is always driving the ATVs and they are very good at explaining how to use them safely. I felt very comfortable zipping around the mountains despite being a beginner. It was really nice too that the guides took high quality pictures of us throughout the tour and sent them to us later that day. If you're looking for a thrilling and educational activity in Guatemala, you must book a Simoon Tours. It was the best part of my entire trip! The only thing I would change is more direction/signage to the Simoon office in San Juan. It was kind of hard to find.

Sooooo I had a great time. My boyfriend and I rode on the same ATV. Initially the tour was supposed to go to Hobbitenango but unfortunately due to political unrest we were unable to go so we visited some other places. We went to the Hill of the Cross and learned of the history of the Mayans and the Conquistadors, which was interesting. Then it poured, lol. Fernando our tour guide brought ponchos for everyone and he ran and got them for us so we could be comfortable. He was very attentive, super knowledgeable of the history of Guatemala and overall just a great guide. I would definitely go on Simoon tours again. We had so much fun.

The sky-high tour was great. Fabricio was a fantastic tour guide who showed us the most beautiful views we've ever seen, along with interesting facts about the views (in English!). Also, I requested to be on a motorcycle which was no problem.

We did two ATV tours with them (Antigua Sunset Tour and Pacaya Volcano) and it was amazing! They are funny and it felt safe. I certainly go back with them the next time I will go to Guatemala.

We loved our ATV adventure!! The guides Diego and Pedro, were fun and helpful. They were especially impressive given we went during Lent on a Sunday and the town was very difficult to navigate due to all the road closures. Diego led the pack and Pedro blocked traffic with his ATV to keep our group of 12 together. They kept us safe and led us on a grand adventure to the cross and up the hill to Hobbitenego, then to a great restaurant and off to the chocolate factory tour. The big challenge was getting back because the roads were completely shut down at that time for the procession, but they did it and they even walked us out of the chaos to meet our host. And the price was extremely reasonable for all included. I feel like this is leaving way too much stuff out, the experience was something I’ll remember forever!

We did 2 tours with Simoon and used the for the transfer to Panajachel. Everything worked very smoothly and everyone we interacted with were friendly and professional. We first did the ATV coffee tour with our guide Alex. Alex did a great job of showing us around and ensuring we had a great time. We was a superb guide and had an awesome Halloween costume (we hope Alex wins). Through the tour we saw how coffee was made, went to an outlook with a view of the city and Alex took us to a really nice beergarten. Ask for Alex if you do this tour! The next day we did the ATV volcano tour. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but our guide Oscar ensured we had a great time anyways. I can highly recommend this tour if you wanna see the lava fields without trekking. I can highly recommend this tour. They also take a lot of pictures and send them to you which is an amazing touch! 10/10 recommend. Thanks so much team!

We had a great time on the atv toor, around $50 per atv and 2 can fit on each. It was awesome we visit 3 sites and the people as well of the guides were really nice and helpful.

Love, love, loved this tour. I did the Pacaya tour and it was so freakin awesome. Our guides were fun and knowledgeable. We went through the streets, base of lava rocks, sand dunes and windmills. Felt safe and comfortable the whole experience. They gave us a packed lunch which was great as well. I also used them for a shuttle and I’ll definitely be doing another atv tour. Highly highly recommend.

This was by far the best ATV tour I have done so far. The views are astonishing. The view of the surrounding volcanoes, the village of “Hobbittenango” and the guide, everything was great. Since there were only two of us, we made a few extra stops in the surrounding villages. So I was able to see a lot in just one morning. I recommend everyone to take a tour with “Simoon Rentals & Tours”. You will not regret it!

Alex was amazing as a tour guide! Very kind and told me interesting facts about antigua at each of our stops. He showed me how to use the ATV and reassured me that if I ever needed help, he’d be there (just honk twice!). The first stop on our mountain tour was a very cute chocolate production place. It was nice to try cacao beans and some of their hot chocolate. I was surprised there was also a winery to sample some products. Alex was a great photographer at all our stops, and knew the best way to do all there is to do at Hobbitenango. I’m grateful I chose this tour and highly recommend it to others! Great way to see a lot in a shorter amount of time.

Had the best time with Simoon Rentals & Tours! Prices are reasonable and the front desk employees are really nice. We booked the sunset ATV tour in Panajachel and our guide Nehemias was awesome. They let me and my partner take a motorcycle instead even though it was a last minute request which was so cool (my partner has his license). The next day we had been struggling with finding somewhere to take us paragliding after a different company has made us wait for 2 hours then cancelled so we ran to Simoon to ask them to take us super last minute and they did!! 20 minutes later we were already on our way up to go fly and it was the BEST experience. Can't thank you guys enough for making that happen for us. My paragliding guide Leo was so friendly, passionate and skilled at what he does. It was the highlight of my entire trip to Guatemala.

The 14:30 quad to hobbiton was fantastic. Fredy was warm, knowledgable and patient. All round fantastic guy. The trip was full of surprises & was an amazing excursion. With a lunch / dinner up in the mountains at sunset. Very recommended , maybe bring a jacket in the evening when you’re driving back in the dark, & getting back at 19:30 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Great experience with this tour company. You can use your credit card without additional cost. They allow you to use their WIFI in case you don’t have network like myself. Convenient location, great service. We had Erik with us as a tour guide. Phenomenal guy and very knowledgeable. He also goes out of his way to recommend you great places to visit off the beaten path (he recommended this Shuko- Guatemalan hotdog- place which was amazing and would have never found without his help. I took the sunset tour. Good price (around $70 CAN) included an ATV and a 5 hr tour of the look out points higher up. Also an entry to HOBBITTAITANGO which surprisingly was amazing and fun!

My guides Darrel and Danny did an awesome job in being friendly and guiding me, also being very informative about all the places we visited and the local culture. The tour had a very relaxed vibe the whole time and never felt rushed. We went to so many places I can’t even count them all lol. Highly recommend this company.

Update] We came back a year later with a group of 15 people and simoon was very accommodating! Everything went smoothly except for a few people flipping their ATVs but no one got seriously hurt. What an amazing tour!! How often can you say you rode ATVs at the base of a volcano!? This is the tour to go on while in antigua! Hands down!! What a great time we had with Simoon rentals! Our group of 10 signed up for the ATV tour that stopped by the chocolate farm, Hobbitanango and a couple other little spots. We met them at their office, got our helmets and walked over to where they kept their ATVs. They gave us a quick demo on how to operate the ATVs And off we went! They’re very easy to operate as we had a few with us that were not mechanically inclined and they were riding the ATVs with no issues. I felt safe the whole time despite riding through public traffic. Since we had a bigger group they split us into two groups of 5 that way it wasn’t too disruptive to the public traffic. I’ll definitely be back to rent some other things!
