If you’re looking for a classic example of a traditional Sardinian town, then look no further than Alghero. This town, located on the northwestern coast of Sardinia in the region of Sassari, is home to old-style buildings and cobbled streets. The architecture lets you know in no uncertain terms that you’re in Sardinia; indeed, you’ll know from the moment you arrive at Alghero Airport or Porto Torres.
One of the most visited areas of Alghero is La Pelosa, a beach community that’s just outside the city. Also technically outside of the city are the Neptune Caves, which is best accessed by joining one of the daily boat tours. In most occasions the maximum you might be charged is the security deposit. If you included Premium Insurance with your booking, then your security deposit will be protected. When you pickup up your rental, our local rental partner will explain the procedure to follow and emergency contact details in the event of an accident - your safety always comes first.
