The rental process was smooth and the Vespa was in great condition. I highly recommend renting from the rental shop. Lake Como is a great place for touring, however beginners may be intimidated on the outer loop of the lake. But if you have experience it is INCREDIBLE!! For U.S. travelers: Make sure you obtain an International Driving Permit from AAA while still in the states. The numerous online IDP applications are all fake and are simply language translations of your license. They are NOT valid for driving in Europe, local cops will write you a large fine if checked, and you will have zero insurance coverage. Also, for renting a 125cc Vespa you need an American motorcycle license. For a 50cc you do not. Every rental place here will tell you something different. Happy travels!

Make this THE place to go to when looking to hire a moped in Como, Italy! Very helpful when booking last minute, so much so, not only did we hire a 50cc (it was the only type they had at short notice to be fair) when the weekend we too busy for driving or using public transport to go around the lake, we ordered another motorbike (125cc) for the following day. Perfect way to get around 2up when in Como! The rental shop even allowed us extra time to bring the motorbike back when we were at one of their Wine tasting events as the time slots were a bit tight. Thankyou very much, will look you up again when back next year!!

Fantastic spot to rent Vespa scooters for the entire day. It was the highlight of our trip and would highly recommend this spot to anyone coming to Como who wants to explore the entire lake via scooter (it is a beautiful drive). We even considered getting a rental the following day. The rental shop helped us get an expedited IDP, gave us clear directions, an itinerary for what we wanted, and let us practice briefly with the scooter before we headed out. We were late to drop off and forgot to fill our gas, but they were so understanding and flexible. I could not recommend them enough and will be returning here on our next trip to Como!

Loved this rental place. The man who helped us was so lovely, very helpful, showed us where to go and gave great suggestions for the day. The motorbike was in immaculate condition and the process was so straight forward, we gave ID, left a deposit and spent the day out, when we returned around 6pm, he was at the shop waiting for us to ensure hand over and that we were happy with the motorbike. We took the motorbike over to bellagio, and varenna on the ferry and drove it back via tremezzo- such a wonderful day out. Overall a great experience and would reccomend to anyone looking to explore lake como. Thank you!

The company has a very friendly and professional staff, and the motorbikes are excellent. We rode our Red Vespa from Como up to Tremezzo, then boarded the ferry to Bellagio, and finally rode back down to Como. Jeremy is the man to know in Como — he’s fantastic!

Great overall experience here! The process was simple and straightforward and I got to do my bucket list ride on a Vespa around the lake. Filled out the paperwork and reserved day before for 8 hour block and the Vespa was ready for me next day. I was shown the controls and was on my way to a beautiful ride around the lake, with plenty of time to spare for lunch and gelato. My only suggestion would be to add a universal phone mount as an option. The lake loop includes multiple roundabouts so it’s easy to take a wrong turn.

we rented vespa for our day trip in como.. it was worth it… If you like riding motorbikes or looking to travel like a local.. renting motorbike here is perfect solution… the location of the store was very accessible and the staff was very understanding and kind.. Giulio was very friendly and accommodating with our queries and always available for help… I would recommend to plan your travel ahead so you can make it back in time for your motorbike handover. 😊👌🏼.. memorable trip 👌🏼

What a guy. Good energy. Friendly and really helpful, giving us overalls for the rain and gloves and a phone mount. We had 1 days rain 2 sun. The vespers where perfect for driving around lake como storage under seat and on the back of the motorbike. No issues at all with the motorbike and the petrol gets you really far. You can take them on the ferry very easily and finding parking is much easier as well as getting round queues and busses. I would definitely use this company next time I come back

Had an awesome experience exploring around Lake Como all thanks to the rental from here. The staff was super helpful and the rental went smooth. The Vespa we rented was fairly new and well maintained. Note to future renters: Do not forget your International Driving Permit. Also, riding in Como traffic requires a bit of skill so not for beginners.

This Vespa rental was the ride of our lives! If you share a love for unique modes of transportation, this was worth every euro. In the Lake Como area itself... my husband and I traveled on foot, by train, ferry, waterbus, public bus, and Uber. By far–the Vespa gave us the most freedom, comfort, and convenience. And not to mention the hours it saved us. Two days of our stay—there was rain, on and off, (through 7 ° - 17 °C ~ 45 ° - 63 °F) degree weather. There was even a landslide that closed traffic on the east side of Como leading to Bellagio. When our plans needed to change, it became a beautiful adventure to navigate and see more of Como Lago. Our Vespa rental was mechanically strong and perfectly red. The scooter appeared almost new. Because the Vespa is 125 cc, a total of two people can ride it (1 driver and 1 passenger). This also means that every driver requires motorbike experience. My husband’s U.S. Motorcycle Driver’s License coupled with his AAA International Driving Permit allowed him to go behind the wheel. Our rental package included insuance and 2 helmets. Another important thing to know is there is a required $500 deposit/hold on credit card. The brothers that manage the rental business, are fair and professional. They were a pleasure to work with and were very accomodating to us.

We had such a good time with the Vespa we rented from here! It felt like a brand new Vespa, the onboard storage was enough to house our backpacks while we were riding, and the helmets when we were not. The man helping with the rentals was very helpful, but also considerate (he actually turned away the couple before us because he was worried they’d hurt themselves). I’m pretty familiar with motorcycles, but not with mopeds, so he walked me through the differences. He was a good instructor, would rent again!!

We had an amazing time today with the Vespa rented from here. Gulio who rented the Vespa to us was super helpful and friendly 10 out of 10. We have seen amazing places and enjoyed the sun warming us up while riding across the lake. Highly recommend to rent from here ! Next time we are coming back here.

The best Vespa in Como! We were on honeymoon and my husband really wanted to rent a red Vespa to travel around (just like in the movies). We found this place on Google and Giulio promptly helped us, providing a Vespa for us to rent on the same day, without a reservation. We took a trip to Bellagio and it was very peaceful, the Vespa is very easy to ride even for those who don't have much experience. Even with the rain, it didn't ruin our trip, in fact it was one of the best and most exciting moments of our lives! The Vespas are beautiful and extremely well preserved. We will definitely return to Como in the summer and rent it again. Thank you Giulio for making our stay and honeymoon in Italy even more special.

Used Vespa rental to roam around lake Como to Bellagio. It was a fabulous experience. The owner of this place Julio is very friendly and he helped me with all the questions and completed the rental process and paper work very quickly and promptly. I highly recommend this Vespa rental. The total cost was €80 for one day and we took it around 11:30 in the morning and returned it around 6 in the evening

I could not recommend Julio and his scooter rental place enough! We hired a 125cc to travel around Lake Como and it was absolutely perfect. The hiring process was easy, he provided everything we needed and we were on our way quickly. The Vespa itself was faultless and in great condition providing the best day we have had so far. From the business address it’s so easy to start your ride. If you are thinking of a day around Lake Como, couldn’t recommend it enough doing it via Vespa. Made travelling between each spot a breeze without having to worry about parking. Check them out!

Very good Vespa, the rental operator has really documented all previous scratches on the Vespa in detail, so we are on the safe side & it doesn't mean we have scratched anything. Online booking worked straight away. Allow 30 minutes for the contract to be signed, checked and briefed. I would book again

Good address for visiting Lake Como 👍🏻 We hadn't booked, logically the rental company apologized for taking care of other customers very quickly and offered us a coffee. A few minutes later it was our turn and he was very friendly and professional. Lots of advice for our Vespa trip and he noted the slightest scratch on the scooter during the Check. The Vespa ride saved us from traffic jams and parking problems and refreshed us during this scorching day. It's really the right solution for visiting the lakes. I will do it again where I come with my motorbike.

Great experience with the rental of the 125 scooter. The managers were super friendly and spoke Spanish perfectly. They leave you their phone number 24 hours a day and even kept a suitcase for us on the last day. Riding the motorcycle around the Lake is very easy and there is no loss. We have gone in summer and you avoid parking outside the towns. The road allows you to border the lake with the motorcycle. Highly recommend this rental store.
