Whether you decide to opt for motorcycle hire or travel around Salerno on public transport, it is an incredible place to visit. Salerno is a city in the Campania region of southwestern Italy and is a port city close to Naples. It currently has a population of around 135,000, meaning that it offers plenty of modern amenities, such as leisure centers, shopping malls and restaurants.
However, most people who visit the city go for its remarkable history. Salerno is home to the world-famous Arechi Castle which sits atop Monte Bonadies, offering spectacular views out to sea. It is also host to the Museo Medievale del Castello, a museum displaying coins and ceramics from the medieval period.
If you head into the center of the city, you’ll encounter Salerno Cathedral complete with marble altar, Byzantine doors and baroque crypt. You can also pay a visit to Minerva’s Gardens, a place where local horticulturalists have been growing medicinal plants since the Middle Ages. The main airport in the region is the Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport.
Here you can get both motorcycle and scooter hire for exploring the surrounding region, including Pompei, Nola, Caserta and Mondragone. Those going to Campania will want to pay a visit to the nearby city of Naples. It is the regional capital and bursting with things to do, including visiting the spectacular Mt.

In most occasions the maximum you might be charged is the security deposit. If you included Premium Insurance with your booking, then your security deposit will be protected. When you pickup up your rental, our local rental partner will explain the procedure to follow and emergency contact details in the event of an accident - your safety always comes first.
