Touching down at Norman Manley International Airport places you at the doorstep of Jamaica's capital city, Kingston. With its lush Blue Mountains backdrop, unique Jamaican culture, and tropical climate, this vibrant city beckons visitors to explore. Renting a motorcycle, scooter, or quad bike allows you to soak in all that Kingston has to offer at your own pace.
Cruise along the Palisadoes strip to Lime Cay for a dip in the Caribbean Sea. Here you can snorkel amid schools of tropical fish and take in views back to the cityscape. Then wind your way up into the Blue Mountains, inhaling the fresh mountain air as you ride through small rural villages and take in breathtaking vistas.
Stop to sample Blue Mountain coffee at a local plantation before continuing on to Holywell Recreational Park. At this mountain retreat you can hike through the rainforest and cool off with a refreshing swim under a waterfall. Back in the city, attractions like Devon House and Port Royal provide a window into Jamaica's unique history and culture.
Wander the National Gallery of Jamaica and Institute of Jamaica to appreciate the nation's art, or visit Bob Marley Museum to learn about this music legend. When hunger strikes, sample jerk chicken, ackee and saltfish, or curried goat from a local cookshop or roadside stand. Just east, Portmore and Spanish Town offer a change of scenery.
Or take an exhilarating ride through the hills to Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, Negril, and other destinations along the north coast. With your own set of wheels from a rental agency, the entirety of Jamaica is yours to freely explore at a comfortable pace.
