I had a very good experience with Pinolero, i rented a 200cc dirt motorbike for just over one week and used it to travel all around Nicaragua. The motorbike itself was very capable and allowed me not only to drive along motorways at a decent speed for long periods of time but also to tackle off-road drift tracks and difficult terrain. I highly recommend this company, they are affordable and the owner is very helpful and honest.

This company is one of the best experiences we’ve had in Nicaragua, it was one of the few companies that as tourists we felt wasn’t just all about getting as much out of us as possible. They were extremely friendly and flexible I would highly recommend anyone Who is planning on renting a motorcycle in Nicaragua with a little more kick than us a little scooters. Renting at El Gato Moto Rentals Nicaragua made it so much easier. Their prices were comparable or cheaper than the competition in other cities and is worth it if you’re going to ometepe. They allowed us to drop off our motorcycles a day early, they were is no issues with getting our deposit back. On top of that they were extremely friendly, gave us stickers and even a ride to our hotel. This place will take the stress out of renting a motorcycle! 15/10!

Great motorbike rental shop! I rented the motorbike for almost 3 months for a great price. Edgard is an awesome guy always checking if everything is all right with the motorbike. When the electric starter didn’t work he arranged it to get it fixed (the battery, brakes and oil on the chain) at the shop’s expenses. I definitely recommend it! Customer service 5 stars!

10/10 recommendation. Great company to rent motorcycles from in Nicaragua! They speak perfect English and are easy to contact via Whatsapp or Instagram. Had the motorbike delivered at my hostel in Managua, and they also have a shop in San Juan del sur where my chain was lubricated after two weeks. Spend three amazing weeks riding around Nicaragua on their Genesis SX2 motorbike which was perfect for bumpy and muddy roads. They also provided bungees for the bag. A motorcycle is definitely the best way to explore Nicaragua!

It was a good experience.200cc was the perfect size for our 10 day motorcycle trip. Edgard and his crew had the motorbikes waiting for us at the airport ! And were there at our hotel at the end of the trip. Part way thru we requested a new rear tire which they did in San Juan Del Sur. Was a good price but make sure everyone under stands the cost,deposit and if cash or credit card. It all worked out fine and didn’t cause a hastle. They did WhatsApp a couple of times to check in with us so we felt they had our back. We did 1000km on all sorts of roads with no issues.( some good gravel and almost single track. We took our own riding gear and helmets The best way to see the country for sure . They were great And highly recommend them Thank you!!

Great spot to rent motorcycles in Rivas. Gives you a heftier motorbike that is ideal for sketchy roads on Ometepe at a decent price. One of our motorbikes needed the starter replaced and Edgard paid for it when we returned the motorbikes, which we were pleasantly surprised by. It’s an additional 24 cordoba tax to bring the motorbike on the ferry so worth avoiding the taxi from Rivas to San Jorge.

I rented a motorcycle from Edgard for a month and a half while I explored all of Nica, and the service he provided what unbelievable! I payed just over $10 a day and had constant check ins with Edgard to make sure the motorbike was still running well and I was safe! I cannot recommend him enough, the motorbikes themselves are high quality and very reliable!

We rent 2 motorcycles and ride more 1000 milles in the all Nicaragua. The motorbike was top shape and full of fuel when we get them. The owner of the motorbike was always available on WhatsApp I will recommend this motorbike renting company and visiting Nicaragua without any problems

At Gato motorcycles, you are more than just a customer. They make you feel like family. Out of the entire time I’ve been here in Nicaragua for 3 months, they are the nicest people I have met. When I first walked in their place, they shared some Coca Cola, played good music, and immediately wanted to get to know me. They greet you with a big smile. I ended up speaking with them for hours. I loved being around them so much I even spent Christmas with them. When your looking for a motorcycle in Nicaragua, you need to get the best motorbike and have the best service because the roads are pretty harsh. There are nails and sharp things in the road all the time. I am so glad I had a reliable motorbike. My tire only got flat once, which is very rare since I’ve been here for a whole 3 months. They told me about a mechanic I could take it too but I couldn’t find them. They were so nice that they drove a whole hour just to fix it for me after I asked for there help. They also have the best price. I looked everywhere before I arrived on my trip and they had the best deal. I’ve had the best experience with them. It really can’t get any better and I would highly recommend them!!!

We had the best time on the motorbike touring around Nicaragua. Edgard dropped the motorbike at the airport for us and picked it up at our hotel on the last day, service is excellent and communication was great. Everything excellent here! The motorbikes are fun and well-maintained, but above all these are good and trustworthy people. I've rented three different motorbikes over the course of about two months and had no problems with the returns or anything else. At one point I damaged the rims on one of the motorbikes and that too was handled calmly and professionally. And having a motorcycle in Nicaragua really does make a world of difference. Highly recommended!

These guys are great! They conveniently dropped and picked our motorbike up for a reasonable fee and the motorbike worked perfectly, especially along the dirt roads. Came to Nicaragua in January from Canada and rented a motorcycle through Nelson for 3 weeks. Very pleased with motorcycle and service received. Well priced daily rate. Speaks perfect English and was very pleasant. Quick to respond to any inquiries we had along our journey. We traveled throughout Nicaragua and had no issues with the motorbike whatsoever. Only wished we had smaller than XL helmets, but that was not a problem to manage. If back in Nicaragua, will definitely use them again.

I rented Yamaha 150cc for 10 days. The motorbike came almost new. Very well maintained. The owner is very nice and everything went smooth. There is no sign to show the business entrance. You need to ask the person at the shop next to it . Very good experience.

Thanks to El Gato we were able to travel to even the most remote places in Nicaragua. The booking process via WhatsApp was quite straightforward and it took us only 10 mins - the next day we got the motorbike delivered to our hotel in San Juan. We had a Genesis x2 that provided us with a comfortable ride on both regular and dirt roads. We traveled from San Juan to Ometepe, Laguna de Apoyo and el Transito. Thanks to their airport pickup service we were able to return the motorbike only 3 hours before our flight back home departed. Best place in Nicaragua to rent a motorcycle!! Super helpfull and very kind people who helped me with everything! Good price and the motor was in very good condition, almost new! I am pretty short but they let a motorcycle come over that fits my hight. Before I left, they checked all essential parts, clearly safety is very important to them! This also made me feel safe. They had all the time to answer my questions and requests and while i was on my dream trip i could also ask them everything. Even bringing back the motor was a good experience. They gave me back all the deposit without any hesitation or discussion, I feld like I needed to tip them for that. We were both happy i came back safely. Thankyou. I had a very nice experience since the first moment i had contact with them. I would recommend them to everyone. For every person and trip they will find a good motorbike thats fits!

If you’re thinking of renting a moto anywhere near Rivas, look no further!! I just rented for 2 months and the experience was perfect. The motorbike was almost brand new, any time I had a question Edgard was quick to respond and check in with me regularly. Not to mention their prices were hands down the best in the area. I don’t think you can do any better than this if you’re looking to rent a moto.

I rent a moto for almost 3 month and it was so easy. I could travel whole Nicaragua with the motorbike and my surfboard. They have good rates if you take the motorbike for a month or longer. If you wanna go to all the amazing surf spots in Nicaragua on your own and without using shuttles all the time, that is the place to go. Easy fast flexibel I recommend.

I recently rented a Genesis 200cc motorcycle for three weeks Pinolero. I did a tour of Nicaragua. Thankfully, not a single problem the entire trip! They even checked in on me several times to make the motorbike was working well. They maintain and take very good care of their equipment and are a pleasure to work with! Also, there prices are very fair, and they will deliver the motorcycles to Managua. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience with the boys from Pinolero. Cheap, moto in perfect condition, they meet you at rivas where it best suits you, text you to make sure everything is fine and I could leave my credit card with them so I didn't have to sit with lots of cordovas leaving the country. It was super good experience! Edgard bring my motorbike to the airport in Managua and i started my journey in Nicaragua from first moments on moto and it was the best decision! Bike was almost new Yamaha XTZ-150 and its perfect choice for Nicaragua, because its economic and can go to more places with bad roads, like in some places in Ometepe, that ordinary motorbike or scooter. Highly recommended this place and big thanks again for this experience!

If you are in Rivas Nicaragua , look no further for a motorbike rental, this company offers great rates , excellent communication, they dropped the motorbike at my place with no charge , they had all the paperwork , just cash and driving license needed for me , the following day we agreed my motorbike had the rear wheel a bit deformed, he sent in the early morning someone to replace the motorbike disregarding if I used a little fuel already , motorbike collected at the end of the service by them at my hotel . AMAZING job !

Really good experience, the motorbike are top notch, always answering to your question honestly and give a really fair price. I had a problem with the battery and they changed the motorbike without even complaining, then we add 3 days more and no problem as well. Would recommend!
