Eduardo was fantastic! Very accommodating and the scooter was perfect to suit out needs. The best way to get around the island.

The Azores is an archipelago in the mid-Atlantic owned by Portugal. The group of islands have dramatic landscapes, green pastures and, interestingly, hedgerows. Many people who go to the island use motorcycle hire and scooter hire to explore it more easily.
The largest island is São Miguel and offers both lake-filled calderas and the Gorreana Tea Plantation. The Azores has a range of airports, depending on which island you want to fly to. João Paulo II, named after Pope John Paul II, is one of the primary hubs, though there are others including Ponta Delgada airport in São Miguel island.
Tourists who travel to the Azores enjoy unusual activities unavailable in most other destinations around the world. For instance, whale watching is a major export. The islands’ remoteness means that it is easy to see some of the world’s largest and rarest sea creatures.
Tourists also flock to the Sete Cidadas. This is essentially a hiking trail that takes you through some of the Azores most breathtaking landscapes. You might also want to check out the Lagao do Fogo.
This is a beautiful crater lake on São Miguel island. However, there are no parking facilities, so it is best accessed by bike or quad. You may also want to check out the various beaches dotted across the islands.
These are dozens of these and they all reflect the archipelago’s volcanic history. Pico Mountain is another natural wonder. Even though it is many hundreds of miles from the mainland, it is Portugal’s highest peak and stands proud of the surrounding terrain.
To book your motorbike/scooter/quad online all you need is a credit or debit card. When you pick the motorbike up, you'll need:
