Thank you! We had a great time. We rented the CFMOTO 450MT and it was a perfect motorbike for this island. The motorcycle was reliable, well maintained, and in very good condition. It never let us down and took us almost everywhere on the island. We were riding as a couple and had a lot of fun. The motorbike was comfortable and worked great on all kinds of roads. It was pure luck that I found this rental shop. I rented an XSR900 GP Edition from them. A dream motorbike for a dream trip. The team was professional, efficient, and helpful. We rented a Yamaha 700 Adventure motorbike from the rental shop. Hats off to them for providing an excellent service. The staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable about motorcycles and the island. The service was great as the staff were enthusiastic about riding on the island, sharing locations and tips that were very helpful. The motorbike was delivered to our hotel in the morning, which was great since we were able to jump on the motorbike right away and start exploring. Riding a motorcycle across the island was one of the highlights of our trip. The views were incredible, the roads were twisty and fun, and there was little to no traffic on the secondary roads. I'd ride there again in a heartbeat. Thanks to the rental shop for providing an excellent service and helping to create a highlight of our stay.

I rented a Honda Transalp 750 for a day. An amazing way to explore Madeira! The Motorcycle was very tidy, and the process was simple overall. No issues with returning the deposit either. The only rental place in Madeira that would either allow me to rent for a single day and with less than 1 year of riding experience. I would highly recommend!

The team explained the scooter clearly and I felt well prepared before starting my trip. If you decide to rent a scooter, PLEASE wear your helmet and don't race. Be careful on the curves and narrow streets, Madeira's roads are beautiful but can be tricky. It was a great way to explore Madeira more freely, especially the coastal roads, viewpoints and smaller places that are harder to reach without your own transport. Returning the scooter was easy as well, and I received my deposit back without any issues. Overall, reliable service, friendly staff and a very practical option if you want to discover Madeira independently! :)

We rented four Yamaha Ténéré 700 as a group and had an absolutely incredible time on Madeira! The motorbikes were in very good condition and flawlessly maintained. For an island that is literally just curve after curve, the Ténéré was always sufficiently powered and provided the absolute perfect mix of cornering fun and off-road detours. A special thanks to the rental shop. The contact was always super nice, trustworthy, and incredibly flexible. We had so much fun riding that we decided to extend our rental period by 2 extra days, which was handled completely hassle-free. If you are looking to rent a motorcycle in Madeira, look no further. We hired 2 motorbikes for 6 days. A honda nx 500 and a bmw gs 850. Both perfect motorbikes. Easy to book, minimal paperwork on collection. On day 3 1 motorbike had a puncture, this was no problem for them, within 1 hr they came out and sorted the problem, a fantastic service. We would highly recommend this rental shop for motorcycle hire, and would definitely hire from them again. Madeira is superb fun on a proper bike!

I had a flawless experience with the rental shop for the rental of a Yamaha XSR125. Both are really nice and helpful, and the prices are absolutely fair (I was recommended to take an insurance, but just paying a deposit was totally fine as well for them)! The motorbike was in good condition, the process to assess the damages transparent, and the return without any issues. Would rent again!

It was a great experience for me. I really liked the level of service provided, and very flexible approach to each client. For example, when my flight was canceled due to strong wind and I had to quickly change my plans, I was able to quickly rebook a motorcycle and return it just as quickly. I rented a scooter for three days and then an enduro motorcycle, both of which I was very pleased with - both their technical condition and performance. I was especially pleased with the strong information support: I was provided with technical advice as well as information on the locations of key sites to visit - it's very important when you're short of time. I had a great experience renting a scooter from the rental shop in Madeira! The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor, which made everything even more enjoyable. The scooter was in excellent condition and had very low mileage, which gave me extra confidence while driving. What I appreciated the most was their professionalism during the handover - they took detailed photos of every part of the scooter and sent them to me right away. I found this very important and reassuring. Overall, everything was smooth and stress-free. I would definitely choose them again without a second thought!

I rented a 1100cc Honda Africa Twin from Rent-a-Scooter and it was hands down the easiest decision I made in Madeira! It was €47 for 24hrs! Best deal ever for the size motorbike and the allotted time! It comes with a storage container big enough to fit a 30L bag plus more, windshield, and phone mount for any phone. Marcelo was the gentleman that helped me out with my rental and if anything changes, he does have a number you can contact him at. The motorbike is tall, smooth and fast! Go see Marcelo so you can zoom around the beautiful Madeira island!

I had a really great experience with Rent-a-Scooter Funchal and can honestly recommend them to anyone visiting Madeira. The staff was extremely friendly and patient. They answered every single question I had without rushing me and made the whole rental process very smooth. What I especially appreciated were the flexible return times. Even though you have to return the scooter on the agreed day, you have time until 17:30, which means you can still fully enjoy your last day on the island without stress. That makes a big difference when you want to make the most out of your trip. The pricing is very fair for what you get. It’s definitely worth it. I was even able to borrow a second helmet spontaneously so I could take a friend with me and they didn’t charge me any extra for it, which I found very generous. In my opinion, having a scooter in Madeira is almost essential. The island is so beautiful and diverse, and with a scooter you can truly experience places that would otherwise be difficult to reach. It gave me so much freedom to explore. One thing to keep in mind: if you pay the deposit in cash, you get it back in cash on the day you return the scooter. If you pay by card, it can take up to 20 working days to receive the refund. That’s important to know when planning your budget. I personally didn’t have enough cash with me, so I had to pay the deposit by card. However, I needed the deposit back earlier than expected. Thanks to their excellent customer service via email, they actually arranged the refund faster than planned, which I’m very grateful for. Overall, a very professional, friendly, and trustworthy rental company. I would definitely rent from them again.

I rented an NX500 for 2 days, after I missed my original flight home. The motorbike was in perfect condition, well maintained. Pick-up and drop-off went seamlessly, and it is an absolute joy to talk to the guys who work here. Great customer service, and good motorbikes. Weather can be unpredictable on the island, but despite this, seeing Madeira on 2 wheels is still the best way to do it. If you’re visiting madeira, get a motorbike from these guys for at least a day, and you won’t regret it.

I rented a Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports (2024) from the rental shop and had a great experience. The motorbike was in very good condition and heated grips were a big plus. Gloves were provided and I didn't have to pay extra for a helmet. I was initially worried about the deposit and some negative reviews, but everything went smoothly and there were no issues on return. The staff speak excellent English and clearly know motorcycles. Roads are fantastic, but I would recommend considering a lighter motorbike, as the Africa Twin is quite heavy for very steep and narrow roads. Next time I'll probably choose a Transalp. Overall, very positive experience and I would rent here again.

Rented the suziki vstrom 800 for 2 days The great motorbike model advice, the reasonable price and the wide variety of helmet and clothing sizes (which is included in the price) makes me come back. If you rent a bit longer then a day, it becomes cheaper, ask for the scheme. I made some damage and was a little afraid of the high cost but it came out very reasonable price, they did not even charge the work it takes to put the part on the motorbike. Also their whatsapp nr was extremely available helping me out the closest fuel shop with a google maps link in the time of the traffic light 8-) tip: use gear 1 + standard, otherwise the motorbike falls with a small incline. As they did not screw me over with the damage, it creates trust. This is from now on my goto rental place which I also will share among my motor clubs. will definitely come back soon, thanks vivemadeira!

Great rental experience in Madeira. The scooter was in excellent technical condition and everything felt solid and well maintained. All the wearable gear (helmet, gloves, etc.) was clean and not worn out, which I really appreciated. Pickup and drop-off were on time and easy, with no hassle at all. I rented Honda Transalp for one day and had a really nice road trip - perfect motorbike for exploring Madeira. The only downside is that the deposit refund takes really long time (more than one month), so full insurance or cash deposit should be considered.
