We had a wonderful experience with this rental shop. Great communication throughout the rental. We rented a CF moto 450mt which was in excellent conditions and a lot of fun to ride. I would definitely recommend to rent your motorbike in Portugal.

Both motorbikes were in tip-top condition, and the briefing was thorough. Our tour of north-eastern Portugal was a unique experience – endless bends, very little traffic and friendly locals everywhere – it couldn’t have been better. We rode from Porto to Miranda. The scenery is unique.

I highly recommend renting a motorcycle from here! They are extremely professional, friendly, and accommodating. I was able to reserve a motorbike for two days by emailing them a few weeks before my trip, and the entire process went very smoothly. This is an amazing company. JG responded so quickly with any communication. He spent a lot of time helping us make a route through Portugal. I brought my own special clutch lever and Lavio installed it then when we returned he removed it cheerfully even though the place was packed with other riders waiting to start their adventure. During our trip JG checked on us to make sure all was well. We could really feel his pride for Portugal and his care for us to have a fun and safe trip. Not only are the humans at this company wonderful, but the motorbikes were in immaculate pristine shape!!! Thank you so very much for an incredible experience. I would highly recommend this company for a flawless stress free motorcycle trip!! (Bring stretchy pants…the food is delicious!!)

Had an amazing experience with the rental shop. The owner was incredibly professional, friendly, and flexible. He even managed to deliver the motorbike during the holiday period after my flight got delayed. The motorbikes were in excellent condition, new models, and perfectly maintained. He was always available on WhatsApp, quick to respond to every question and concern, and made the whole process super smooth. The overall experience was off the charts. Highly recommend to anyone looking to rent a motorbike in Portugal. I rented the legendary BMW 1250GS which was perfect to handle. Will be coming back for sure!

This is the second time I have rented a moto to ride the N222 through the Douro Valley. The motorcycles and service are top notch making the journey carefree. I've also rented scooters to get around the Porto area. Skip the lines and parking is a breeze. Best way to see Porto & Gaia. Yes I "Wanna go for a ride" again. The moto is the tool, I posted the results.

Their customer service was absolutely fantastic, they took a lot of time to explain the bike's functions and quirks so I'm tremendously satisfied with the way everything was handled. The service, quality of bikes and equipment were all second to none! Would rent there again in a heartbeat. Thank you Northroad team and Riderly for making it so breezy, I wish I were paid to say good things, but I have to give honest credit where credit is due!

Rented a 2025 BMW G310GS at 20 years old with A2 license. This was possible for a small extra insurance fee of, in my case, €15 a day! João is very friendly and warm. He tries to assist you as great as possible. The motorbikes are well maintained and are mainly the newest models. It was no problem for João to make some adjustments on the motorbike to make it a perfect fit for our plans. I would highly recommend renting!

Outstanding experience! It was our first time renting a motorbike, and everything was perfect! From the moment of booking, we were assisted by a reservation agent who quickly confirmed that everything was in order and finalized the reservation. We picked up the motorbike at the agreed place and time, and it was already prepared with the luggage set, the Via Verde for the highway, and a phone mount. João and his assistant were friendly, extremely kind, and provided us with helpful information. The motorbike worked perfectly throughout the trip, and we didn’t have a single issue or problem.

Great company to rent a motorcycle in Porto Portugal. I was there in June 2025 for a 14 day tour of Portugal and Spain. I am from Texas USA and rented a BMW R1300GS online before my trip. I received a conformation of my deposit within a day and had a few questions for them about the rental. I sent emails with my questions on got quick responses with the answers I was looking for. When I got there, my motorbike was ready and waiting for me. They even let me mount my accessories that I brought right there in the shop. I mounted my Chigee apple CarPlay device and my phone charging mount on the motorbike. Great guys working there and they were very friendly. Their motorbikes are all newer and seemed well maintained. I highly recommend Northroad if you want to rent a motorbike in Porto Portugal.

Me and my girlfriend rented a 125cc motorbike and it was FANTASTIC! easy process and great price and the motorbike was near on brand new. It was such a good idea for what we needed and the staff were amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, we will be using their service again when a next return to Portugal.

Perfect place to rent a motorbike. Good communication. Very responsive and super nice people. I could change my return time to the next day in the morning without any extra costs which was very nice. The motorbike was in perfect condition plus it was a super fun drive. The only weird thing was, that I had to pay a little bit more than it was shown on my contract. Edit: They got in touch with me. After we found out the reason (system error) I immediately got a refund. Well deserved 5 stars.

I rented a motorcycle for 12 days and it was awesome. The motorcycle was in excellent condition. JG was really responsive and answered all questions I had before and throughout the trip. He also went an extra mile in helping me when I had some issues with my documentation. He speaks excellent English. Out of the many places I contacted, he had the clearest insurance policy and the best response time. Looking forward to another trip one day!

Can't say enough about this place! The staff speak English very well, not an expectation, but a bonus. They were very attentive, friendly and accommodating. All the motorbikes are pristine. On the way out, one of the owners noticed my tire was a tad low. (I'm sure it was fine when they inspected it during thier process when a motorbike comes back, which is pretty extensive) Turns out there was a very small splinter causing a small leak. Could have ruined my ride for sure. But their pride and attention to detail, as well as customer service caught it and made it right. I was delayed for half hour, but they adjusted my return time. Very impressed with this place, and am renting again from them tomorrow.

If you want to tour Portugal I couldn’t recommend these guys enough. JG was extremely accommodating. I had a rough route in mind when I showed up and he gave me a map with a whole itinerary for the time I had the motorbike. He responds promptly, speaks perfect English, and is there if you need anything along the way. The 2025 Africa twin I rented was in perfect condition when I showed up. Very happy with my experience with these guys. 10/10

JG is incredible. I was in Porto for 36 hours and was itching to see the city by motorcycle. I contacted him at 9am for a rental and we were riding by 11:30am and only just for a day. The motorbikes are in pristine condition and many to choose from. If I come back to Porto I will absolutely be reaching out to him again!
