I wouldn't recommend riding on Gran Canaria as a beginner, the asphalt is often good but there are a lot of twists and turns and steep cliffs. However, if you've been riding for a couple of years this island offers some of the best motorcycle roads in all of Europe. I can highly recommend the rental shop, they've very knowledgeable and have a great number of fantastic machines available.

We rented a Honda CB500X from here for the day, we spoke to Jose about the route we planned to take and he suggested a route along the GC-500, GC-200, GC-210 and GC-60 to do a loop from maspalomas up towards Puerto Mogán, through the national parks and the mountain regions and back. This was around 160km and 6 hours round trip at a leisurely place two up riding. Route suggested was amazing with a mixture of coastal views and then mountains and canyons. It showed off the best Gran Canaria has to offer! Bike supplied with two helmets, large top box and lock within the price. Made for a fantastic day out. Thank you to the team at Moto & Bike Rent

3 days with a CB500X from here. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bike was supplied with topbox (big enough for a helmet) and lock/chain. Had great trips out. West is rugged and mountainous with a dramatic coast. Up through the middle is mountainous again, starting off with huge valleys and canyons, then turning more green up towards Teror (great place for a stop for lunch). East is where the airport is and best avoided as it's all very commercial and not very pretty. There is a motorway running almost round the whole island. They haven't joined it up on the west coast yet. It takes a few hours to get across the whole island. It's not actually that far but the roads are very steep with lots of hairpins! You can get from north coast to south coast on the motorway in about an hour. Word of warning, riding here isn't for beginners!! Roads are narrow in places with blind corners and sheer drops.

Hose is amazing. We made a last-minute scooter reservation and shortly after, we received an email from José with instructions on how to proceed. The next morning, we were on site. There was no paperwork at all. Everything was done through a smartphone – filling out information, taking photos of ID documents, and in the end, we received the contract via WhatsApp. Three days later, we returned the scooter without any issues whatsoever, and our deposit was refunded instantly. Extremely professional and friendly. We highly recommend! Thank you, Hose!

Moto & Bike Rent is great, 10/10. I rented a Kawasaki Vulcan 650S from them for two days. The paperwork went smoth as a breeze, no problems, very easy. The motorbike was in perfect condition and well maintained. Took it from Playa Inglés up to Tejeda, I can strongly recommend going up that mountain road. I also took it for a spin along the coast up to Puerto Mogan through Arguineguín, Puerto Rico and back. When returning the motorbike there was no problems, some rental companies make money on finding flaws on the motorbike that they accuse you of have done. Moto & Bike Rent is not like that at all, I had a great welcome and they wished me a continued happy vacation.

I reserved the motorbike in the UK in advance and when I arrived they got me away as quickly as possible. They sorted me a new Voge 350 scooter, helmet and jackets and some advice on the best places to visit in the mountains. Myself and the wife has an amazing 3 days exploring the great mountain passes. I returned the motorbike before 9am as instructed and my €500 was instantly returned after the motorbike was checked over. My Wife left a hat under the seat and Jose contacted me to inform me I'd left it. As I was 17km away I asked him to bin it as it's not worth the bus ride to collect it but they made a special trip to the hotel that night and dropped it off. Amazing service, the motorbike was fantastic and the crew were so helpful. If I could give these guys 6 stars I would. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone visiting Gran Canaria and wanting to explore on 2 wheels. Thanks so much guys.

We rent Piaggio 125 for 3 days. There is no kilometer limit. Prices were comparable, but the motorbikes were in far better condition than in the other rental companies. Head of the service is helpful and full of fun, so the worries about travelling in foreign country went away. You only pay up to 300E deposit when something wrong happen, because the insurance covers everything above, except theft with keys inside of motorcycle. To conclude - me and my wife are really satisfied, we travelled around all the island with no worries, that we can't reach the end of the path because of scooter condition. We used this company to hire a motorbike for 1 day. Ideally we would have wanted a BMW GS or a Triumph Tiger, but it is not possible to hire the larger motorbikes for 1 day, as they have a minimum 3 day hire period. We ended up with a Suzuki 650 VStrom, which was actually an ideal sized motorbike for the route we took over through the interior. Helmets were provided, along with a lock and a top box, which was great for my girlfriend to lean against. Great company to deal with, and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had a fantastic experience renting a scooter from Moto And Bike in Maspalomas. The vehicle was in top-notch condition, making our journey around the southern part of Gran Canaria smooth and enjoyable. We rented a Honda CB 500 already a second time here in perfect condition, tires were perfect to have a lot of fun in the mountains of gran canaria. The crew was very friendly and took care to prepare everything for this awesome motorcycle adventure. Prices are very fair, overall nothing to complain about at all. Making a trip around the eiland is a must do! It’s a great adventure driving in the mountains and villages. It feels like driving tro the Grand Canyon If you want to do this trip also then this is the place to go for renting a motorbike! Friendly people with good advice and service. The price is also good. When I will be visiting Gran Canaria again I will definitely go there again for renting. I wish you all the same experience😎

I reserved a 750 Honda and picked it up after two days. To the motorcycle came helmet and gloves (2x each). Jackets cost an additional 10€ each. In the mountains, the jacket is worth it. It is a lot of fun to ride a motorcycle on the island. As long as you are not afraid of the abysses. I drove about 500km in two days. Rented for 2 days and returned on the third day in the morning. All in all very satisfied. Whether the price is justified, I can not judge. I would rent a motorbike again!

The guys from the English beach store treated us like luxury, even with a mishap that we had caused by a third party which left us without a passenger footrest. They helped us at all times, leaving us another identical motorcycle, but newer. It's well worth it and it's nice to find places like this. With the problem and everything, they only told us: “enjoy” while we left the parking lot with the new motorcycle.

Came here because of the good reviews and wasn't disappointed. I ride an 1100 Honda back home, but here I hired a Honda Forza scooter, ample for the 5 days I had it for. The staff were friendly and informative with suggestions for places to go and great rides up into the mountains. At sea level comfortable 80 kph on the larger roads, and as for the mountains, mostly 40 kph speed limit, but with the numerous bends, switchbacks and stunning scenery, what's the rush? From sea level you slowly climb up to almost 2,000 metres where there are pine and eucalyptus, much nicer than the dry barron coastline. I'd certainly recommend these guys, and there's plenty of choice of machinery if you do want something larger.

I give them 5 stars because I can't give them 10. We have rented a Suzuki V-Strom. The attention from all the staff has been excellent, all very close and professional. The bike was in perfect condition, and the equipment (helmet, jacket, etc) too, as well as being top quality. 100% recommended, we will repeat with them the next time without a doubt.
