AMAZING!! A Birder's Dream Trip!! We have seen over 340 bird species in Tanzania with the help of the rental shop guides! Not to mention the Big 5 and so much more. This was our second trip to Tanzania with the rental shop. We consider ourselves beyond lucky that we met the guides on our first trip. Because now we will always have a family in Tanzania. If you already know the kind of trip you want, they will make it happen for you. And of course if you don't quite know what you want, they will ask all the right questions to make a perfect trip just for you. The lodging they reserved for us were all amazing, a combination of comfort, culture, and location! The driving skill is amazing and the truck is comfortable. Beyond their deep knowledge of the Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater they can introduce you to a deeper level. One of the most amazing experiences we had was a motorbike tour through Mto-Wa-Mbu. Of course there were birds and animals all along the way, but there was more. We had a tour of a banana plantation, a traditional holiday meal and the opportunity to shop and talk to the local artists. We are counting the days until we get to go back and learn more about Tanzania with the rental shop!

Working with the rental shop to put together a customized moto trip for 6 of us from the US was great. The team worked up a fantastic itinerary that exceeded our expectations. We felt we got to see authentic Tanzania. The mix of dirt, tarmac, village life, safari, Maasai lands, and even ocean life of Zanzibar was outstanding, truly. Accommodations were very comfy. We always felt safe with our riding, customized to our capabilities, while exploring these wonderful lands and people. I loved my Kibo 250. Very responsive motorbike, even with my short legs! Absolutely cracking motorbike tour. We have done several motorbike tours over the years and this one beats all the rest. The guide plans the riding to be interesting and varied every day. He tailors it to the group's ability and adjusts routes on the fly to keep everyone happy, from the fastest riders to beginners. Above all he is a ripper bloke and full of local knowledge and passion for Africa. Can not recommend highly enough. An absolute not to be missed adventure.

The guide was an absolute legend. Well organised and prepared with perfect English, he's a hell of a guy. He went over and above to ensure a loose bunch of Aussie riders had an awesome time. He read the play of the calibre of riders perfectly and customised the route and terrain to suit. The motorbikes are new and in great condition. They are maintained daily, with stacks of spares and the bikes we rode around Tanzania were outstanding motorbikes to ride. Best motorbike tour we've done yet. I'd thoroughly recommend the rental shop for anyone wanting a hell of an adventure. Ten out of ten for sure. Thanks again, we had the best time.

5-Star. I rented a Himalayan Royal Enfield from the rental shop to solo travel through Tanzania, and it was a very smooth, easy and hassle free experience. I was fortunate with no problems with the motorbike and I absolutely loved the staff who got me lined out with last minute changes to the motorbike setup and suggested travel routes!

The rental shop is a 10/10 operation. When I booked my trip with them, I thought of this as a bucket list "once in a lifetime" type trip. In hindsight, I hope I am wrong about this - I can't wait to do more trips to Africa and with the rental shop. I did their signature 10 day tour in September/October of this past year with my brother, and we were blown away. I typically do a moto tour about once a year, but I have never done one this long or this far away - and I am really glad we did it. Here are just a few highlights about things I loved about this trip. The people. Tanzanians are so kind and helpful. I always felt welcome and safe. The dirt. No matter what kind of dirt you like to ride, you will find it in Tanzania. The motorbikes. I had never heard of these motorbikes before, and was admittedly a bit sus. Trust me when I say these motorbikes are perfect for Africa. They are specifically designed to make the most of the terrain and infrastructure. I wouldn't want anything else. The accommodations. The rental shop has curated an amazing portfolio of boutique lodges that you would never find on your own. Each one with its own special wow factor. The wildlife. Nothing cooler than riding with wild animals like zebras and giraffes - that was amazing. A close second was the game drive we did in one of the national parks. The value. I have paid twice as much for tours half as long. Don't let the airfare scare you off, it will be more than made up for once you get there. Of course, none of these highlights compare to the team. Both the guide on our trip and the folks in management who coordinated all the logistics were amazing. Frankly, we still keep in touch. Even if everything above was simply average, I would still be dreaming of my next trip just to see these folks again.

Excellent motorcycle rental in Northern Tanzania. I rented a Kibo 250 which proved very tough and capable on some very rough tracks. A very straightforward rental process, I'd highly recommend the rental shop.

I booked a full day motorcycle tour around Arusha, Chemka and West Kilimanjaro and really had a great experience. Communication with iRide was perfect, they responded the same day and informed me very well about the whole tour, reservation, changes. Immediately after the tour they asked me for any feedback or ways to improve and arranged for the deposit to be refunded. As for the tour itself it was perfect; I got to see a lot and had lots of different driving experiences, and had the most kind, comfortable and flexible tour guide I could have wished for. Thank you for the experience!

A staff member in Arusha helped me over several days to plan a great trip and experience for me, including renting me all clothing and helmet and motorbike and a tour guide for the day with a route. Wow, what a trip! I spent 4 days and 3 nights riding from Arusha to Kilimanjaro and then on to Lake Natron with the rental shop. It was a real adventure - we even had a flat tire along the way! But that just added to the excitement. We saw so many wild animals like zebras, giraffes, and impalas, and the sunrise with the Maasai was just magical. The ride had everything - tarmac roads, dirt tracks, sandy stretches, and rocky stone paths. The technical parts were especially fun and kept the adrenaline pumping. The guide was super friendly and really knew his stuff, especially when fixing the motorbike. I always felt safe, which made the whole experience even better. Plus, the places we stayed were all different and cool - from beautiful views to being out in the wild, and some spots were really fancy too. If you want an authentic and fun trip, definitely check these guys out!

Incredible Off-Road Adventure Through Tanzania! I just completed a solo (with a guide) one-week off-road motorcycle safari in Tanzania, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we set off, I was blown away by the stunning landscapes, abundant wildlife, and the sheer thrill of riding through some of the most scenic and challenging terrain in Northern Tanzania. My guide was exceptional-highly skilled, knowledgeable, and passionate about both motorcycling and the local culture. Whether navigating rugged trails, spotting wildlife, or introducing me to remote villages, he made sure every moment was both safe and exhilarating. An unforgettable adventure through some of the most breathtaking landscapes! The motorbike adventure from Arusha to Lake Natron was absolutely incredible. The stunning views along the way—vast open plains, rugged terrain, and the beauty of the lake—left me in awe. What made the experience even more special was the chance to learn so much about the Maasai culture. Heri was an amazing guy, sharing his deep knowledge of the region, its history, and traditions. What an unforgettable experience! I highly recommend riding a motorbike in this stunning region. My journey with Heri from Arusha to Lake Natron was incredible. Along the way, we saw a variety of wildlife and navigated some of the most scenic, dusty roads. Excellent Motorcycle Rental! I rented a motorcycle and spent a week traveling through Tanzania on my own. I had an amazing time! The owner is incredibly friendly and gave me lots of helpful tips. Trustworthy company, they provided good service, they where available for any questions I had, helped us with route planning, however I had some issues with my motorbike, the keyhole for the fueltank was broken and I had issues closing the tank, which was a bit stressful as I was very far from Arusha at this time. The motorbike also got a flat tire first day of driving it but I brought the motorbike to their shop and they helped me changed the tire free of charge, so over all I’d rent from IRiseArusha again. Special thanks to Simon their mechanic.

Had a opportunity to test the Kove and I must say it was a lovely experience. It's a very stable and steardy motorbike. Great power for both on and off road usage. Good clearance on the motorbike as well so abit easier to tackle tricky terrain and surprisingly light making it easy to manoeuvre. The Owner - Sharib better known as Mo is a fun loving and adventurous guy who loves the outdoors and is a hands on guy up for any adventure. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a motorbike safari in Tanzania.

I rented a Royal Enfield Himalayan from the rental shop. They were able to arrange pickup and drop off at the airport which was very nice as I had transport during my entire stay of almost a month. They were friendly and reachable at any time. The motorbike was well maintained and comfortable. A great experience, I highly recommend it!

We rented a Royal Enfield 350 for 6 days at the rental shop. Having a motorcycle gave us so much more freedom to discover the island, to plan day trips for diving, for our cooking class, for tours, a visit to stone town and reaching restaurants a bit further away from our isolated accommodation. It is the perfect means of transportation on the island. Communication with a staff member was quick, smooth and professional and everything was arranged remotely: inquiry, ID, local drivers license, payment and deposit. Rental fee for the last day was calculated to the hour instead of for a full day, which we thought was nice. We stayed at the east side of Zanzibar so we chose the option to have the motor delivered to the hotel and picked up afterwards, on both occasions the driver was not 'polé polé' but right on time. Exceptionally reliable and highly recommended!

One of the best experiences from my 9 days in Zanzibar. The booking and communication was fast, professional, and the staff was friendly, kind and helpful. Anytime I had a question or concern (and I'm a natural worrier, so I had a lot) they were very fast to reply via whatsapp and always helped me out. They offer saddle bags, cell phone holders, etc., and a good selection of motorbikes that appear in great running order. There was one hiccup, which was that I had the motorbike delivered to my hotel, and one of the helmets had a broken strap/buckle so would not close properly. This was resolved quickly and simply by having the driver go back for a replacement. It also would never have been a problem if I had collected the motorbike at their offices (which are immediately next to the airport - a 2 minute walk from the terminal). So double check the gear and the motorbike - but the way this issue was resolved means that it did not negatively effect my experience. This is the best way to explore Zanzibar. You have freedom while also being completely immersed in the life and pulse of the island in a way no other mode of transport can provide. The bustle of Zanzibar city is wild, but traffic is pretty slow and there are a number of scooters and motorbikes on the road so it feels quite safe. Outside of the city, the main roads are generally good, wide, and not too busy. My only regret is not having the motorbike for longer!

This was so much fun. Driving this moto with my wife on the back through the craziness of how different traffic is in Zanzibar (we live in America) was a blast! We went on a day trip around the island to a spice tour (which was amazing) and the only national park in Zanzibar where we saw the Red Colobus monkey (only native to Zanzibar). The motorbike was flawless and a comfortable ride. Not sure if they have automatics but the clutch and motorbike were flawless! So much fun!

Another 5-star review for the rental shop team. Excellent pre-rental info, a great machine and a brand new helmet. The motorbike was flawless, and even had old school panniers for luggage storage. Very comfortable. Easily coped with whatever Zanzibar had to throw at it and a great way to explore the island. Would thoroughly recommend.

Freedom plus! This tour is amazing. If you can ride a motorbike, it offers like-minded travellers an opportunity to see not only the places that are in the tour brochures, but so much more. Our guide was knowledgeable and always making sure we had everything we needed. Stopping in one of the villages, we really saw what life is like for the locals. Women truly do fetch and carry water on their heads. Kids love seeing you, and greeted us with such enthusiasm. The food! Authentic traditional cuisine. I can't recommend this tour enough.
