Best Chiang Mai rental by far!! We rented 2 CRF 300 and the motorbikes are awesome to go around the mountains in Chiang Mai. The motorbikes are not stock, they are modified and practically new, my friend got one with 44km on it. You have included good helmet, gloves and they even offer us motorbike jacket. We will be back for sure, 100% recommended.

After a fair amount of internet trawling I hit up CBTT for rental of a RE Classic 350 to complete a 3x day self guided trip around Mae Kampong, Doi Saket & Samoeng Loop. I've rented motorbikes from various outlets in Thailand over the past 30 years (& seen some horrors!) but felt Randall & staff have really 'upped the game' in terms of friendly, knowledgable customer service as well as a fleet of modern reliable motorbikes. Nothing was too much trouble (even for this walk in customer with no reservation). I hadn't packed a jacket and was pleasantly surprised they could supply one at no extra charge. Over three days the motorbike didn't miss a beat, close to showroom condition, newly run in, everything felt as it should. The 350's are Perfect for hilly, narrow Northern Thailand roads but could easily handle highway speeds when called upon. Also worth mentioning, despite being the wet season I didn't see a spot of rain daytime, so don't be put off!

Perfection all the way! After searching the internet for motorcycle tours for quite some time, we came across CBTT. This is the place to go in the blink of an eye! The owner and staff were very nice and responsive. The motorbike was in excellent condition and very comfortable to ride with a passenger. We took the two day, one night Pai tour with our exceptional guide Sirikorn (aka Peterpan) and had an amazing time! We discovered delicious Thai food specialties, learned a bit more about Thailand and saw breathtaking scenery while riding the Royal Enfield and feeling super safe all the way. Rental shop with Royal Enfield and other motorcycles with own service garage. Very kind people who really care about motorcycles. I can highly recommend! We rented an RE Classic 350 with saddle bags for a trip to Chiang Dao. It was a dream which came true, my first experience with RE. The motorbike was riding gently along the highways of the valley and was able to climb the steep roads of the mountain up and down. All with a nice thumping sound. We were able to keep our Honda PCX at the shop overnight and the owner offered me to repair some problems with the CVT. I hope the next time I can try again. I've seen RE Classic 350 Stealth Black/Halcyon Green, RE Hunter 350 Rebel Blue, RE Scram 411, Honda PCX 160, Honda NX500 and some others. Thank you!

When I first started to research our trip around the Mae Hong Son Loop, I didn’t know anything. All I knew was we wanted Royal Enfields as we knew these motorbikes were comfy. I originally contacted 3 companies and CBTT came straight back, answering all my questions and more. I knew straight away this was the company I was going to book through. From the first communication and all the way through our trip around Northern Thailand they have been there. Whatever the question or problem they have found a way to get things sorted. We spent 12 amazing days on the Royal Enfields and then came back to Chiang Mai and swapped them out for scooters. Again CBTT came up trumps and nothing was too much trouble. I have no qualms recommending Pum, Randall, Phil and the girls to anyone looking to hire big motorbikes, classic motorbikes or just your run around scooter. We will return to do the Nan Province in the near future and our No.1 choice will be CBTT. You will definitely be in good hands, I know we were.

Extraordinary, literally. Ordinary being what the usual Thai motorbike rental shop would have to offer: Go there, choose a ride, sign contract, pay, ride away, hopefully return yourself and the motorbike in one piece. At CBTT, they ask instead: "Where do you want to to go, what do you want to do?" You reply, and everything onward is a sincere mission to put those plans to action, enhance them even. You could even reply "No Idea", and the team would probably throw together a route better than whatever you could have come up with in the first place! They have a motorbike for every occasion, all in immaculate condition and with some neat aftermarket modifications too that make riding them even more fun; we're talking custom clutch- and brake-levers, bikepacking rigs, fun exhaust systems, etc. We went two-up on a CRF300 for one day of chasing through ricefield, gravel and mountain roads, followed the next day by a NX400 that took us comfortably all the way to Chiang Rai and back. We had the greatest time, not least thanks to the top tier motorbikes and amazing recommendations provided by the team!

Riding a beautiful motorbike around an amazing city with other locals was one my favorite riding experiences in awhile. I loved the support I got as a rider and the confidence they gave me when trusting me with their motorbikes. Motorcycles are in amazing condition and the tour guides will make sure you are well taken care of. Looking forward to checking out the dirt biking experience next.

Got a very new motorbike from them, it was a 125cc one, but powerful like 150 ones I’ve driven from Honda in the past. They make sure you get a thoroughly cleaned and shiny motorbike. The owner was a nice man, there were some small scratches on the silencer shaft which were not in my knowledge. Maybe someone brushed their vehicle in the parking lot during my time. They didn’t charge me any fine for that understanding it wasn’t my fault. Good business people, highly recommend.

A week on a motorcycle through northern Thailand, especially Pai, was truly an eye-opener. We rented a motorbike and immediately felt complete freedom. Pai amazed us with its winding mountain roads, green valleys, and panoramic views. We stopped wherever we wanted, soaking in the vibe of local cafés and markets. Pai Canyon and the rice fields left unforgettable impressions. The journey turned out to be far more vivid than regular tours — we became part of the local life and saw Thailand from a different perspective. If you have the chance, rent a motorbike and you won’t regret it!

Great motorbike and very accommodating company. Rode a 450 royal enfield with my wife on the Mae Hong Song loop over 6 days. The motorbike was perfect and response time of CBTT communication was just as good. Highly recommend hiring a motorbike here! I rented a Royal Enfield Hunter from them and had a great experience. Friendly staff, they gave me all the equipment I needed for a safe trip through the mountains, padded jacket, big helmet selection and gloves. The motorbike was in pristine condition and was powerful (350cc). I’ll be renting from them again

I rent a motorbike for a few days to go to Chiang Rai. Everything was perfect and easy. The staff is very kind and helpful, the motorbike is in perfect condition. I picked up a Royal Enfield 350, a perfect fit for this trip. The roads are awesome. I really enjoyed riding these. They provide helmet, gloves and jacket, which is nice. I highly recommend CBTT. Very good rental! The motorbikes are new and in excellent condition, I have no doubt that they are well maintained. The owners are motorsport enthusiasts themselves. I was given a nice helmet with clean glass. And they also gave me a motorcycle jacket with protection, for free! She helped me a lot when I fell on a slippery road. Thank you very much! By the way, there was some damage on the motorbike after the fall, they fairly assessed these damages. There were no problems. 👍🏾 Good luck!

If you want to rent a motorcycle or scooter in Chiang Mai, then this is the place to go. The owners and the staff were very welcoming and engaging and I enjoyed talking with them before and after my rental. I rented during a very busy festival time, but they still took all the time I needed to get prepared to go plus also gave me a list of great local sites to visit. The motorbike was excellent and was in near new and perfect condition. It looked like all of their inventory was in new condition and very well maintained. The owners are experienced motorcycle people and are fluent in English. Do yourself a favour and make this your motorbike rental company of choice when in Chiang Mai

Last days of November I rented their Kawasaki KLX. What a wonderful motorcycle! The motorcycle was in perfect shape and I had no problems with the motorcycle. I've been to Chiang Rai and back with zero complications. If I go back to Chiang Mai, I'll definitely rent here again. Did rent a motorbike (Honda CRF300) after Christmas for around 16 Days. Everything -> contact, service, all employees, condition of motorbike, tires, etc. was very professional and just amazing. Even when i got a flat, they managed shortly to place a new sparetube at a hotel next to my location for pickup. It was so much fun to riding the north of Thailand on & off road - one of the very few that allows offroad with their motorbikes. Even some of the motorbikes are upgraded with premium parts like Öhlins susp. and sports-exhaust, etc. Thanks for everything. Highly recommended!!! BR Simon

Definitely the best shop in Chiang Mai to hire a motorbike. High standard, new motorbikes, great people. The road motorbikes and scooters are very new and maintained in excellent condition, and their off-road equipped CRF300L and KLX230S are absolutely the best off road rental motorbikes you'll get in this town. Those motorbikes are fully kitted out for enduro with essentials such as upgraded handlebars, hand guards, radiator guards, skid plates etc: they are motorbikes which will not fall apart as soon as they see some mud. They also have great performance upgrades such as lightweight aftermarket exhausts and, on the CRF300L, Ohlins rear shocks. If you want to hire for off road or dual sport in Chiang Mai, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Additionally, the KLX230S are the low seat height version. So if you like to be able to get a foot down but you have short legs, these are a great option.

Road Trip! A real personal experience hitting the highway on a tour around northern Thailand. I travel to ride motorcycles and this didn't disappoint, well maintained flowing roads with very light traffic outside the cities, great route taking in as much Thai culture as you can absorb. Accommodation was very comfortable with air con, clean and well located. The motorbike I chose suited me (RE Scram), but would have been fine on any number of the motorbike options offered by CBTT for this tour. Can't wait to come back to experience more amazing food, country and culture of this part of Asia. Well done CBTT.

Flew in with no prior notice and was recommended these guys by Grace at Hivolt moto tours. We hired two Honda PCX scooters for a week on the Mae Hong Son Loop. Randal and staff were very efficient and helpful and the motorbikes were near new and excellent condition. Top boxes were provided upon request and worked well for local travel. I am happy to recommend CBTT.

Roger and his team at Classic Bike Tours Thailand are absolutely top rate! Excellent and well-maintained motorcycles - I loved the Royal Enfield Scram I rented for an 8 day expedition through Northern Thailand. There was one very minor mechanical issue that they fixed on the spot and after that it was smooth riding. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and variety. I will be back!

These are the people you trust with your kids (while you go on a trip.) All staff are super friendly with genuine personal contact. The motorbike (NX500) I rented was the best motorbike I've driven so far too. Accessories, like helmets and gloves are in good condition, compared to what I've seen in other shops. All in all very satisfied with the overall experience.
