BMW R 1300 GS Trophy

Rented a 1300GS for 4 days. The staff was very accommodating, very responsive and provided excellent tips for my journey. The motorbike was excellent. It had Android Auto/CarPlay for navigation and top of the line side boxes and crashbars. The rental shop has a few good helmets with Cardo coms, few jackets and gloves. I would definitely recommend the rental shop.

The owner is definitely the person you want to hire your motorbike from in Cape Town. I was really cautious in the beginning due to overly positive feedback. But from the moment I stepped in to get the motorbike (early Monday morning) it was all perfect and totally exceeding the feedback. Communication, flexibility, feedback is on a totally different level than any regular hire company. I got R1300GS for a week and 2400km. Everything was smooth and the owner was instantly available if I ever had a question throughout the trip. GS was in perfect condition, Android/Carplay navigation provided with the motorbike was also great, making travel easier. Just to mention, you can get helmet and gear from the owner as well, if you need. All in all, very positive and highly-highly recommended experience in Cape Town.

My wife and I rented a 1300GS 2024 model in November 2025 for 1 day. Bike condition was great. The owner was very flexible (returning time of the motorbike, changing the dates due to weather, etc). The value to cost is great compared to other vendors. He provided us both with helmets with microphones, jackets, gloves with no extra charge. He also suggested amazing roads for us to discover. All in all 10/10 experience.

Renting a motorcycle from the owner was a fantastic experience. This was our first time renting a motorcycle overseas, and the owner made the entire process easy and fun. He was extremely responsive and patient with us both before the rental and throughout the trip. The owner also helped us plan the logistics of our ride and was very flexible with both pickup and drop-off times, which we really appreciated. We rented a GS1300, and the motorbike was in pristine condition. We had a small issue with the GPS (which turned out to be an issue with iOS outdated version), and the owner was quick to help us sort it out without any hassle. If we ever return to Cape Town, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to rent from him again. Highly recommended!

We rented two motorbikes from the owner yesterday and had a fantastic experience!! The motorbikes were in excellent condition and ran like new with all the extras. The owner was very accommodating with pick up and drop off times and very responsive when organising the booking. He was also very generous with route tips. Highly recommend and will definitely come back when next in Cape Town!!
