Fantastic moto shop! The owner is a rad human and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The associated hostel was also fantastic with a sweet rooftop hangout area and super hot showers with great pressure, which was unusual for Belize! Amazing after a few long days on the moto. The rooms are small but well laid out. I'd recommend the rental shop without hesitation :)

LOVED our experience with the rental shop! Definitely rent a motorbike and explore this beautiful country. The staff does a great job here. Organized, professional, welcoming, knowledgeable, and experienced. Our only regret is getting motorbikes for just one day! The rental shop was fully booked for the rest of our trip or we would have done a second day without a doubt.

The rental shop led our group of 5 women on an epic guided motorcycle tour. They read our skill level and gradually increased the difficulty level all the while touching base to make sure we were good. We saw secluded waterfalls, caves, jungle paths, rivers, swimming holes, bioluminescence swims, crocodiles, and so much more!!! Hopkins was amazing, the people are friendly and the food outstanding. Don't forget to go on a snorkelling tour to see nurse sharks, barracuda and sting rays....best trip ever!!! Thanks!

Let me tell you right now that there is only one place to ever rent a motorcycle from in Belize; that's from the rental shop out of Hopkins! They made my first time in Belize a trip that I will never forget or likely ever be able to replicate! Don't even bother looking elsewhere, there's no one else that even comes close (speaking from experience 😉)!

The rental shop is a must do for any motorcycle enthusiasts visiting Belize. The staff was very helpful on suggesting places to visit. They run a great business. Their motorbikes ran well and we had an absolute blast. Check out the Jaguar Preserve and the villages to the south. I'd love to come back and do a multi day trip! It was the highlight of the vacation.

If you are considering renting a motorcycle from the rental shop, seriously just do it!! I highly recommend it. Initially I wasn't sure, because I had read conflicting experiences on forums about riding motorcycles in Belize, but we are so glad we did. We have experience riding, and were aware of our surroundings, didn't ride at night, and it was an extremely positive experience. We rode about 1000 miles or so just exploring! Other than the accommodations booked, I didn't really have too much of a game plan. The rental shop was so helpful with all of that, and took the time to show how to get there on the map and suggested various things to check out which my partner and I loved. We rented two motorbikes for a week. The pricing is very reasonable, the motorbikes are well maintained, there's rental gear as well such as helmets and bags. We really got to experience true Belize exploration by motorbike and there is nothing that compares!! The rental shop was so very helpful with coordinating things, providing information, useful tips, cool places to check out, & helping us plan a few things on our itinerary. I felt safe having borrowed a map and a cell phone in case of emergencies. We will definitely be back and very much looking forward to it. One of the best adventures I am grateful to have experienced.

After having digitally met Emma years prior, I finally was able to get a group of ladies to come out to Belize from USA to rent motorcycles and explore! Emma has an incredible space to rent that is linked to her motorcycle tour/bike shop. We rented the larger suite with a bunk bed and a main bed and then had another person renting the solo loft room. Both had their own equipped bathroom and a common area up on the top level with open air access and seating along with a mini kitchenette for your use. Emma took us on beautiful tours through her side of Belize. The trails weren’t terribly hard (as we had some beginner dirt bikers) and the motorcycles were very well maintained. She’s very knowledgeable about the areas and knows all the hidden gems! We had so much fun not only from the riding but from just hanging around Emma - she is such a vibrant personality and has stories for days! The small town felt safe and we walked it by ourselves at night with our group to find dinner or stop at convenience stores. There are healthy options and it is far from a tourist trap. You’re supporting a local, thriving economy. Emma also has more tours to choose from where you can ride further out and explore and stay in other towns. We definitely want to make the trek back to do that too! Would 10/10 recommend this trip whether solo or with a group! You’ll find a friend in Emma or if you want to solo explore, she will be sure to have amenities to make that you’re comfortable.

Alternate Adventures in Hopkins was the best experience I had in Belize. The motorcycle was a great way to see natural and historical sights across the country, especially in hard to access locations. The Crash Pad was clean and spacious and very welcome after a long day out adventuring. The service was amazing. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to attach a little adventure to their tropical vacation!

Emma and her staff are wonderful. I had a tight timeline and a lot of activities to do, and she helped me see/do the coolest stuff and get some good riding in. The motorbikes are well-maintained and reliable. Emma will listen to you and give you tailored routes and tips based on your priorities. The Crash Pad Hostel is super nice too, clean and lovey. Seeing Belize by motorbike is the best way to get to the cool stuff, especially if you like a little diy adventure. Rent from Alternative Adventures... You won't be disappointed.

我五月份骑着探险摩托车游历墨西哥、伯利兹和危地马拉,其中一站是霍普金斯.我在探险车上走了一些小路,但很快意识到我的技能水平更适合租一辆更小、更轻、带有越野轮胎的摩托车.Emma帮我找到了合适的摩托车,因为我个子不高,手续简单(常规免责协议),然后我们出发去Dangriga的偏远丛林.摩托车维护良好,没有任何问题,这与全球许多租赁点不同.我强烈推荐这里租越野摩托车,即使你有自己的探险车,因为它们灵活有趣,可以带你去大车不适合去的地方.

你不会相信骑摩托车环游伯利兹有多美妙!Emma十年前开了这家店,看到摩托车游览伯利兹的乐趣后,发现没人出租,于是开了第一家也是唯一一家摩托车出租店.租她的车很愉快,她很了解这个国家,会根据你的兴趣帮你规划路线.我觉得我在9天1400公里的骑行中只是略微了解了伯利兹.租车费用几乎自给自足,因为很容易到达偏远地区,通常这些地方的旅游团费用超过100美元.大多数遗址门票只要5美元,你还可以偷听导游讲解.路上还有额外的瀑布和洞穴,或者玛雅村庄可探访.摩托车状况很好,很多当地人用她的店做维护和配件.她总是很快回应你的需求.我期待着再次回伯利兹,骑摩托车更深入地探索!

Emma是最棒的.我们在伯利兹骑了18天摩托车,她帮了大忙.她对国家和精彩活动的了解无与伦比.去Caracol的路程令人难以置信,对我们这些50多岁的人来说有点难,但非常值得.4x4游览需要3小时,我们用Emma的摩托车不到2小时就到了.她的摩托车维护得非常好.去租摩托车,绝不会后悔!

这次体验是我们旅行的亮点之一.我们做了Emma推荐的大部分行程,甚至在去Xunantunich的路上去了San Ignacio的周六市场(Papusas成了我新宠).骑摩托车走Hummingbird Highway令人难以置信.一切都很顺利.Emma还帮我们保管行李,货箱非常实用!我确认250的最高时速至少65英里/小时,两人骑时也是.必须换挡离开一挡!

Emma非常乐于助人,帮我安排了精彩的一日游.家人去浮潜,我不擅游泳,想骑摩托.Emma推荐了Mayflower Bocawina国家公园,非常棒.很高兴不用跟团,可以随意拍照......我拍了经典的ND滤镜瀑布照,后来在海岸附近玩得很开心.Emma提供地图、头盔和手机,非常贴心.Honda 150XR动力足够,适合单人骑行.行李箱很大,但路面颠簸,贵重设备要固定好.回顾建议:长途带手套和护具(我摔过两次,护肘救了我),Mayflower Bocawina白天很热湿,建议带短裤和多水.带午餐能节省回Hopkins时间.强烈推荐这家店,希望以后能来这里玩一周冒险.
