The rental shop fulfilled a decades long dream of mine to explore this magical island. The guide's insight of the island is absolutely priceless. Accommodations, local restaurants, but most of all the guide's knowledge of the back roads and secret spots resulted in a once in a lifetime experience for our 6-day tour. The guide's flexibility in terms of our riding skills, schedule adjustments, restaurant recommendations by old friends, stops at moto shops to pick up vented gear, etc. was beyond appreciated. The 450 Himalayans were perfect for the terrain, whether off-road or the high quality paved roads. Our last day exploring Isla La Maddalena was a perfect ending to the trip. It makes us dream of our next tour with the rental shop. Thank you to everyone we met during this very magical week.

We rented a moto for a week in Sardinia. The woman was very friendly and enthusiastic and provided a very good service. We loved driving this moto and would recommend anyone wishing to rent a moto in Alghero. We will definitely come back when we are in Alghero again!!

We did a 6-day / 1500 km tour and experienced all regions of Sardegna. It's difficult to describe with words how great this adventure was. We discussed with the rental shop that we wanted approximately 20% off-road and 80% on pavement, and they accommodated this perfectly. Their expert knowledge of so many back roads in all the regions is what makes the rental shop the best moto tour choice for this island. The accommodations were all very good, and choice of restaurants provided an exceptional gastronomic tour of the regional specialties (especially the agritourism farm houses!). The Himalayan 450 is very good for these tours, and the condition of the pavement of 90% of the asphalt roads we rode was excellent with lots of grip. If you are looking for a very personal, immersive, and curated moto tour of this beautiful island, do not hesitate to book with the rental shop.

During the planning of our first trip to Sardinia in April 2026, we reserved three scooters with the rental shop one month in advance. Communication was clear, efficient, and very professional. All arrangements were honored exactly as agreed. Despite our flight arriving on a Sunday afternoon, the rental shop kindly offered to organize a transfer from the airport to the rental shop, which made the scooter pick-up process seamless and stress-free. The return procedure was equally smooth and efficient. Overall, the service exceeded our expectations and contributed greatly to the enjoyment of our visit.

Great experience, always on motorcycle both on the road and off-road. Amazing landscape views, food and most of all People! The guide is a passionate guy who loves to share his passion for his land and also is great in customizing the trip based on the different expectations and backgrounds of the attendees. The motorcycle rental went smoothly. The bike already had some miles on it, but it was fully functional and well prepared. The panniers had expandable capacity, so we managed to fit everything in somehow. I recommend the rental shop and the rental agents. And best of all is Sardinia off-season-a beautiful trip.

Riding with the rental shop wasn't just a motorcycle tour! I wanted to try the Himalayan for quite some time, and this was the perfect opportunity to ride it both on paved roads and off-road. As a beginner rider, I really appreciated how the guide carefully tailored the trip to match my skill level, making me feel comfortable and confident throughout. We explored parts of the island that would be hard to discover on your own - riding through the 'sugherete' forests, along stunning scenic roads, and stopping at authentic 'agriturismi' where local people preserve their traditions and treat you to amazing food. The landscapes were breathtaking, and I'm still dreaming about them. This wasn't just a motorcycle tour; it was a true journey into the hidden gems of the island, with the chance to connect with local people and experience a way of life that's becoming rare in today's globalised society. We rented a scooter from them over two days while in Alghero. They were very friendly and provided seamless service during picking and dropping the vehicle. Without question the best money I have spent in years. Seeing the island by motorcycle is the most spectacular and immersive way to experience it, and doing so with an incredible local guide made that experience much richer and more memorable than I could ever achieve on my own. I was lucky enough to tour the island for 5 days with the rental shop, both on and off road. The street riding was the most fun I've ever had on pavement, and the off road riding was as good as it gets anywhere in the world. Give yourself an incredible gift by seeing the island by motorcycle with this rental shop.

The best rental center June 2025 Everything was super ok. We had a small misunderstanding about the time we had to leave the scooter, probably because of the English language, but the owner understood and solved the problem without additional costs. The rented scooter was a Yamaha x-city 250 cc, well-maintained and with brand new tires, just mounted. The man is super ok and if I were to return to Sardinia, I would still come to rent from him. A big plus was that I could leave the scooter at the airport. I recommend it with all my heart! 🤗

We truly recommend this rental service. We rented a scooter for a whole week and drove it aprox. 650km in Sardinia. Scooters are new, impecable and work great. Only place in Alghero I would recommend renting a scooter. I visited 4 other scooter rental places, but they all limit you driving the scooter within Alghero. This place doesn't have this absurd rule.

Rented, ultimately extended my rental with the guide multiple more days. The island riding is amazing, the motorbike had zero issues and was incredibly efficient. We spent an UNFORGETTABLE 3-day father/daughter weekend on and off road motorbikes: professionalism, thoughtfulness and kindness from a human point of view. Fun and adventurous routes, and spectacular and varied views from a motorcycling point of view. Many of us know and appreciate Sardinia for how splendidly it shows itself in the summer, but this time I wanted to go beyond what I already know. After a period of research, the choice fell on Sardinia Rides. The friendly SR crew led by Federico, took us to enchanting places, where the island still shows its rustic and sometimes wild side, panoramic points where you can admire from the mountains to the sea, fascinating historical/archaeological sites. To enjoy all this, we rode excellent roads at a “good pace”… yes, the ones we motorcyclists like so much… and then dirt roads, sheep tracks, long off-road stretches that are sometimes even technical (there is an alternative if you want); excellent food on a farm or packed lunch. Royal Enfields? Don't be prejudiced, and these “small” bikes will win you over; the Himalayan 411 is simple, unstoppable and expresses a healthy retro taste when riding, while the Himalayan 450 is high-performance, comfortable and absolutely modern. Well…have fun!
