Rented the Cafe Racer for the weekend for a trip to a nearby destination and loved the freedom that having my own wheels gave me to get around & sightsee in my destination. It's an awesome little motorbike, was well maintained, & worked great. The owner and his staff were both great to deal with and went out of their way to be accommodating. Definitely recommend and would rent from the rental shop again.

What a nice ride! We rented a scooter at the rental shop and are willing to share the good experience we had. The staff was kind and professional, the little scooter made the distance at maximum speed of 55km/h (we were 2 adults sitting on that little blue scooter). We went to a nearby town on the first day and to a cenote near another town on the second day, without any problems. I would strongly recommend the rental shop: Good service, Professional way of doing business and Willing to help. The ride includes helmet and basic insurance coverage. For the price it's a win. Thanks from Canadians!

Fantastic service, great motorbike. The rental shop made it so easy. I was jonsing for a ride, watching everybody scoot around on motorcycles. I've been here for a week visiting family and most of my cousins ride. I was able to rent the Honda XRE for a trip out to the coast and through the back roads. The motorbike was perfect. It handled fantastic and I will definitely be renting again when I'm back.

Awesome experience. The owner responded immediately and made the whole experience smooth and wonderful. I rented a cafe racer to get around while in the area. Bike was perfect. Owner was very helpful and friendly, and speaks English for those that don't speak Spanish. Highly recommend.

I am very satisfied with my experience with them. I was able to rent a motorcycle (200cc) for my boyfriend and I with short notice (one day). They responded right away after my first WhatsApp text to them. They were able to bring the motorcycle from Merida to Progreso making everything easier and smoothly. They also brought two helmets for us. Price was great and the guy who brought the motorcycle was really nice and answered all our questions. We will definitely rent from them again.

Julian took the time to bring me the motorbike all the way from Merida! I’m a huge avid motorcyclist who’s done Vietnam twice and Julian’s help when any trouble arose was on point! He cares a lot about his clients and making sure they have a fun experience while in Merida! The cafe racer was amazingly fun zipping around the Yucatan and honestly there’s no other way to explore Mexico like a local! Fairly priced, efficient, and professional. Rent the motorbike, you won’t regret it!

Great experience. Merida Scooters is quick and easy. My scooter was in fantastic shape and I was given recommendations for places and things to do that were worth. 600 pesos per day. Not the cheapest but worth it. Merida has many interesting places around that are not trivial to get to. A Scooter may be the best option to get around without spending heaps on tours or Ubers.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. GREAT PRICE. I rented a scooter from Mérida Scooters’ Progreso location, while I was in Uaymitun for three months in 2024. It was the perfect (AND FUN) transportation solution for trips to Progreso and Chicxulub Puerto, to take care of my laundry, go shopping and out to eat. We found this place on Google Maps and were able to connect through whatsapp. We were set to pick up a scooter for 3. When we arrived, we got upgraded to the better scooter and decided to keep it for 4 days. We got a very good deal, so we couldn't refuse. Paid for the scooter up front and put a security deposit on our credit card. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to get around town and have some fun!

seamless experience, they followed through with a booking that was complicated and expensive at other locations. They were very communicative, and through WhatsApp we were able to coordinate the logistics of the rental far in advance. I can't wait to plan another trip knowing i have these guys in my contacts. Motorcycle was reliable and well maintained. Price quotes was exactly what i was charged, which makes planning and budgeting much easier, and the deposit was fair (and quickly returned). Rented a scooter here very easily! The owner Julian is very relaxed and helped us a lot. The shop was closed when we randomly arrived and be arrived in 10 minutes. Deposit money was refunded in 2 working days. I would definitely rent here a scooter again.

This was by far the BEST experience renting a scooter ever. The owner Jullian was great, *reach out prior and he will accommodate meeting you at his office* we CertainTeed were able to see more of the city with the scooter. Pricing is very fair, scooters are clean, well maintained and safe ! And yes you can head to the Mayan ruins or Progresso on them, we did !! You will only get about 75-80kmh but just cruise and you’ll get there. Stay to the right - they will safely pass you. Plenty of storage under the seat and the top box. The top box also adds a bit of support for a passenger.

WOW can't say enough good things about the service at Merida scooters. Drove from Merida to Chelem and had the scooter for 9 days. When a issue came up with the scooter (only once) they were there in 20 min to correct the issue. Fair prices and great service.

I rented a scooter for 5 days. It was the perfect way to get around Merida. Scooter was reliable and quite fast. Only the gas tank is quite small and uses gasoline quick. Perhaps changing the tank to premium. I don't suggest long distance as there are not many gas stations outside Merida in the small villages. I barely made it to Uxmal with a full tank and that's only 75km from Merida. I also suggest you practice within Merida first before heading to the beach or out of town. Riding in Mexico requires knowledge and skills. Know the speed limits and know the rules. There is a lot of police on the road and lots bumps. That being said i want to thank Victor for helping me Great guy he deserves a raise in pay. He was always communicating with me and if I had a question he would answer fast. Even have me a better scooter after couple of days. For the price i do recommend renting here. And i find them trustworthy. Deposit was returned within 3 days.
