Great experience. Fair price, responsive staff. We ran into an issue with the mirror of one of our motorcycles (it broke). The staff was very understanding and charged us only for half the value of the part. Highly recommended! The motorbikes worked great.

Excellent service. Guy with big smile welcomes us at the door. Smile is contagious :). We love atmosphere of that place. We rented scooter for 2 days. Fair price. No problem when we return. I can't recommend these guys enough! From beginning to end they were very helpful, friendly, and even gave us recommendations beyond the typical ones. My fiancee had a little incident and caused some very minor cosmetic damage to her scooter and they first asked if she was okay before showing any concern for the scooter. That to me shows how great these guys are. Very fair, very friendly, I wouldn't go anywhere else for your transportation on the island!

Rented 2 scooters with the rental shop, 15$ each for the day. It was very quick, uncomplicated and legit. They even gave us a little practice lesson before letting us off on the roads since we've never ridden a scooter before. The mopeds were in top shape and fun to ride. Would definitely rent here again!

Sound group of lads and speak good English. Hired a scooter off the rental shop for 3 days. They explained it to me really well and set me up with some good partner companies for tours around the island. Unfortunately I had an accident on my last day and lost my deposit however they didn't take the opportunity to gouge me when I returned the motorbike. Again sound lads and would recommend again!

I am 59 and my son is 23 and on November 10,2025 we rented 200cc motorbikes and the service was second to none. They even helped us out of a difficult situation with no problems. I highly recommend this place to rent a scooter, atv or motorbike. When we returned the motorbikes it was simple and no problems. The owner is fantastic as well. I wouldn’t even consider another rental company.

This place is great! They have a a very good selection at great prices and condition. The staff is very nice and honest. I actually took a tumble on a difficult offroad downhill and scratched the motorbike a bit. They did not take advantage of me and charged me the correct amount for the damages. I absolutely recommend this place!

I rented a Yamaha Kodiak 450 (quad) from the rental shop and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly, spoke excellent English, and clearly explained everything before the ride. The quad ran perfectly and handled rough roads and heavy rain with no problem - I was really glad I chose it over a motorcycle. Highly recommend both the rental shop and renting a quad if you're exploring the area!

Hired a quad motorbike from these guys and it was great! They dropped it off to Totoco where we were staying then we returned it to their shop near the port a few days later. No faff! They checked the tank was full but didn’t look with a magnifying glass for every scratch like we have seen at other places in Central America. Return took all of 5 mins. Super easy to deal with, highly recommended. The Mexican place next door also has great lunch if you’re hungry!!

Brilliant experience renting a motorbike for 2 days through Green Expeditions. The booking was made through our hostel and the man who brought and collected our motorbike was extremely helpful and friendly. Would 100% recommend when staying on the island, such good value for money too!

I rented an offroad motorbike and it was an amazing experience to explore the island and its also sometimes unpaved roads with it. The motorbike was in good condition and the guys working there were extremely kind and courteous and left a superb impression on me. Don’t look any further. This is an excellent business. They communicate wonderfully through WhatsApp, so you can organize everything before you arrive and throughout the trip. They helped us strap on our luggage with their amazing cowboy skills. The price includes insurance and they told us if we had any issues that they would meet us and help us out. Luckily we had zero issues with the quad. We arrived only 15 minutes before the ferry was leaving and they helped us to get on it. Excellent service and wonderful people!

Had a great experience renting from Dinarte’s and I highly recommend. A quick WhatsApp message and the team was fast to reply, we were then greeted at the ferry and jumped in a free organised taxi for a short ride to the store. The team was onto it and had everything ready to go. We went with the Vento 250cc and it was a great motorbike for the island. Good price too. No problems at all and very fast efficient service. My scooter (rented for $15 per 24 hours) was having issues starting, but since it eventually always started I didn’t say anything. Figured I’d mention it after returning the motorbike. Then the night before I needed to leave, it crapped out for good. They said to WhatsApp them for any reason so I did, even though by then it was 8:45 pm. They came immediately with a new scooter, even though I was on the other side of the island. The service was amazing; I only regretted that I didn’t contact them sooner about the issues so that it didn’t have to come to an emergency night call. So contact them ASAP with any issues! I also fell on the scooter (separate from my ignition issues) and I thought they were pretty fair with what they charged me for the damage. Would definitely go with them again!

Highly recommend bypassing all of the people at the ferry and renting at Dinarte’s! We were greeted by two nice staff members. They gave us a fair price right off the bat and took us out to the nearby baseball field to make sure we could safely ride the scooter that we rented. They were helpful with recommendations on the island and gave us our deposit back, no problem at the end l. Riding around Ometepe on a scooter is a must do! Thanks guys!

What a great couple of days that was. I can see why the reviews are so good. Great friendly service. Delivered quad motorbike to our accommodation and sorted out the paper work before talking us through how to use it. Very professional, very helpful. Great value for money (if you don't damage anything you get your deposit back.... some people don't know how deposits work, but 3 bad reviews in 6 years lets you know how professional they are) we had a great 2 days exploring the island. We will be going back next week to give a couple of scooters a go. Would definitely recommend Dinarte. A lovely man with a well run friendly business.

Best place on Ometepe to rent motor vehicles! As simple as that We rented an ATV for 4 days, the vehicle was in great condition, we had no problems during our stay. The staff are super nice, we returned the ATV after 4 days and there were no problems, no surprises nothing. Everything was perfect.

Fantastic motorbike rental, $15 per day for a pristine 110cc Honda Navi. $60 deposit which is less than all the other local companies & the communication via whatsapp was briliant. They delivered the motorbike to my hostel & collected it afterwards. Top company.

Great experience renting here, a scooter here. Also did a guided conception volcano tour. Incredibly nice and helpful people. 18$ a day for a scooter, with 100$ USD deposit or your passport. Well organized with records of everything. You probably could find slightly cheaper elsewhere but I was happy to pay 5$ more for peace of mind. Contact on WhatsApp responds quickly and speaks English/Spanish.

We rented a scooter which was in great shape. The renting process was very fair and easy to understand as the small contract was written in both English and Spanish. Gabriel helped us understand the motorbike and made sure we took videos and photos of the scooter before we took off. Upon return, everything went smooth and he even helped us arrange a taxi to pick is up from San Jorge.

If we could give more stars we would! Great service from start to end! Messaged them through WhatsApp and received all Information and confirmed the reservation. For an extra fee they even brought the ATV to our hostal and picked it up again, so everything was taken care of. The quad motorbike was in great condition, we felt super safe even on tough terrain. You really need a motorbike when traveling the island and specially for 2 people I do recommend getting the quad motorbike, specially when you wanna visit all the places on the island. Definitely going to rent from Green Expedition again on our next trip.

Best scooter place on the island 🥰 got the lowest price in comparison with all other rentals, pick up from the ferry and when someone broke the motorbike while stealing gasoline, the team immediately sent me a mechanic and new scooter. So happy I chose them and can highly recommend!
