The staff were incredible. If going to São Miguel this is the place to rent from. €21/day for a scooter, unlimited km, 2 helmets and a phone holder. They are so kind and helpful, recommendations of the island, the vehicles are in great condition and they are always happy to help. 10/10

Wow! Didn't know renting a motorbike could be such a warm experience. The staff were incredible! Had the best two days in São Miguel with a perfect motorbike. Really recommend choosing the family business over big corporations.

If you're visiting the Azores I highly recommend the rental shop for rentals or for support in your stay in the Azores. The staff were very awesome to have as a resource and were very gracious in offering support and advice well beyond support for the scooter I rented for the month I was on Sao Miguel Island.

Amazing! The staff are absolutely lovely, they picked us up, gave us the scooter + some potatoes from their garden, shared a bunch of recommendations about the island and at the end brought us to the airport at 5am which is way out of their office hours. They are so genuinely sweet and helpful, I recommend 100%! The motorbikes are in perfect conditions and the renting was uncomplicated.

Rental company owned by a wife and husband duo. They were super helpful all the way from reservation (email worked great) to actually picking up the motorbike and riding it around São Miguel. I did an entire loop around the island and had no issues. Make sure to rent their waterproof phone case + bring waterproof clothes because it is always raining on some part of the island.

We had a great experience with Sara and Juan. They were very helpful, responsive and kind. They even insisted on driving us to the airport once we returned the motorcycle. The motorcycle was in a great condition and came with a very affordable price. Would 100% recommend this great business

So initially I was going to go with the first company I found via a search, however they were at capacity with no motorbikes free, thankfully they passed me on to the rental shop, who has been nothing but an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was going to the Azores, Sao Miguel - Ponta Delgada in particular, and knew I wanted to hire a motorbike to navigate the island. So the first day I went to meet the rental shop and checking out the motorbikes was nice and easy, we had a good chat too and they offered to forward information about Sao Miguel activities and restaurants. They also checked in with me along the stay and welcomed me contacting them if I needed anything. It was a warm welcome and set the tone for what to expect on the rest of the island. I guess the most important part of this review is the actual bike/scooter you'll be using. Their fleet are effectively brand new with next to no signs of wear and not a lot of mileage on them. They're reliable, comfortable and easy to ride. The price to have your own freedom to travel the island on your own terms as opposed to expensive day trips or taxis is very much worth it. I had a motorbike for 5 and a half days at a cost of 137.50 and fueled it up twice to keep it topped up and it never cost more than 7/8. I travelled to Sete Cidades, Santa Barbara, Furnas and various other locations but it really gives you a chance to take in the scenery on parts of the ride too, stopping off at viewpoints along the way. As well as offering a great service the rental shop is an attentive person and when we dropped the motorbikes back on the final day, they kindly dropped us back to our hostel within Ponta Delgada. So thank you! I'm hoping to return next year to explore some more of the beautiful island you get to call home!

Incredible rental experience with Joao and Sara, from the beginning to the end. They were the most helpful offering up different sights and restaurants to go and try out all over the island. As I was travelling across several islands they offered to help if I ever needed on the other ones as well. The scooter was brand new and in perfect condition, allowing me to travel easily and efficiently across the whole of the island. A must rent from them and will rent again when I go back.

If I could I‘d give Joao and Sara even more stars. We had an amazing experience renting with them. Joao even took some time to explain me how to ride the motorbike and he drove us back to the accommodation afterwords! They were very keen on sharing tips on what to see and do! Additionally, both were very responsive. After bringing back the motorbike, they immediately gave us back the deposit. So everything was super smooth. I can totally recommend them and will rent from them in the future!

Couldn't ask for a better experience! If you are looking to rent a scooter and explore Sao Miguel, look no further than this lovely family business. The owner is a lovely guy and more than helpful and will treat you more like a friend than just a customer. We were staying a 45min walk away and he offered to pick us up from our accommodation. Scooter was like new and we had no issues getting anywhere we wanted to go on the island. The owner gave us a phone holder and charging port free of charge which was so useful when navigating the island. He also provided a long list of things to do and see and kept in touch making sure we were happy and everything was good. On returning the scooter back he sent the deposit back via bank transfer which arrived next day but also offered cash if preferred. He also offered us a lift back to the airport which we really appreciated. Can't recommend the rental shop enough! All reviews are 5* for good reason. We will be returning to Sao Miguel in the future and renting from the rental shop.

Sarah and Joao were great. I was a little hesitant about riding on the island being a girl. But the motorbike they gave me was not to heavy and worked great. The even gave me some tips on where to go and what to do around the island. They were so sweet and kind. I would def rent a motorbike from them again.They are a family run business. She even helped me find accommodation on another island when I couldn’t. I returned the motorbike , they looked over it quickly and gave me my deposit back on the spot.

It was an amazing experience renting a scooter at the rental shop. The owners are very nice people that take a lot of care of their motorcycles and customers as well. We felt really well cared for and enjoyed chatting with them a lot. They gave us a lot of tips for the island and offered help everywhere they could. The scooter itself was almost brand new and had enough power to explore the whole island while taking only 2.5l/100km. I can only recommend renting a scooter here!

Me and my girlfriend went on vacation to São Miguel and rented a scooter from Sara and João. The scooter was new and fully functional, and it was the ideal way to move around the island, witch sometimes has steep climbs and descents. Sara and João are great, really nice and kind, they take care of you, giving you advices on places to visit and typical restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner. They want to give you a unique experience and they treat you like a friend. The deposit was returned immediately after we returned the scooter, without problems.

Everything went super smooth and the moto was great. In case you don't have rain jacket and waterproof pants, they thought about it and you'll have two sets in the trunk. Joao and Sara are super nice, respectful, always responsive and helpful. They will give you tips about local things, such as really good restaurant, places to visit, things to do. When leaving the island, it was a huge surprise that, instead of taking a taxi to the airport, Joao drove us to the terminal. And it was at 6.30 am!

Everything was amazing - the motorbike, the super friendly owners and the trip! Sara and Joao were helpful with recs for food, fun and ideas for us. We loved having the motorbike to explore the island, driving down small local roads and in quiet neighborhoods off the main highways. We enjoyed our time on Sao Miguel. I recently had an outstanding experience with this Moto rental service during my stay at the Bagus Surf Hostel. Not only was the rental location convenient, but the level of customer service exceeded my expectations. The star of the service was Joao, who delivered the scooter directly to my location and, on its return, kindly offered a complimentary ride back to the city center. Communication was efficient and seamless, with Joao being readily available and responsive through WhatsApp to address any queries or concerns.
