Four days on the Transalp, my first time in Romania, and my girlfriend's first time on a motorcycle, and certainly one of the best trips of our lives. Highly recommended. I wanted to rent a motorbike to go to Transfagarasan and here they gave me the confidence and attention I didn't receive at any other rental place. The owner, Mihai, speaks Spanish and cares about his customers as much as he cares about his motorbikes, which he keeps in perfect condition. He recommended some great routes and places to visit and stay. I rented the Honda Rebel because I have an A2 license. I think it's much better to go from Brasov because the whole route is beautiful and you don't have to use the highway. If I had to rent a motorbike again, I would definitely choose the rental shop.

INCREDIBLE!!! It's a shame I can't give it 10 stars, because it truly is a 10. Words can't do it justice. I decided to rent a motorcycle for my short vacation and by chance I stumbled upon the rental shop. I couldn't be happier that I found them. Mihai is an amazing person-kind, approachable, attentive, and someone you can count on anytime. The bikes are meticulously maintained, practically brand new! Immaculate and fully serviced! I rented the Harley Davidson Pan America for 4 days and we traveled halfway across Romania: Transfăgărășan, Brasov, Bran, Sibiu, Bucharest... An incredible motorcycle. 100% RECOMMENDED! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!

It was the best (spontaneous) decision on my backpacking trip to stopover in Brasov and rent a motorbike at Moto Rent and Ride. Perfect Communication before the rental, easy procedures, fantastic modern motorcycle(s) and really nice rental-host Mihai! Renting extra gear (shoes, pants, jacket) was possible for a small extra charge but totally fair prices at all! Leaving the backpack/ suitcase at the shop while having the motorbike was no problem at all. And I got a drybag for free as well. (Normally side cases on the motorbike but one was broken, so I got a dry bag.) No limited kilometers were great and great recommendations for routes. The Smartphone holder was perfect for navigation as well. I rode the best streets in my life. Better than in Italy! Transalpina was like heaven. And with the 2024 Honda Transalp even the partly slippery roads were never a problem. Mihai said the tires are like 80% street and 20% off-road. It was the perfect mix for these conditions and I always felt really safe. Would highly recommend to rent a motorbike here and explore it yourself. Hopefully I’ll be back with friends to gain these experiences again!

Thinking of renting a motorbike in Romania? I'm definitely considering it. From the very first call, everything was easy. The owner, Mihai, is an excellent person, speaks perfect Spanish, the contract was also in Spanish, he prepared the motorbike as agreed, including gear since I hadn't brought it to Romania, the motorbike was in perfect condition, and he even sent me routes to visit and enjoy Romania. Oh, what a great experience we had. It was last year in the summer of 2024 when my girlfriend and I were on our trip through Romania and stayed near Brasov. It's also been a dream to ride the Transfagarasan, so we spontaneously searched for rentals. I sold my motorbike 2 years before, so we both haven't had a lot riding experience together. But we were on to the challenge. So we found Ligia and Mihai and they were totally welcoming and set everything in motion to help us out so we could ride the big tour the next day. We spent the day before our tour in Brasov and met the two late in the evening before it got dark. They gave us a good deal on clothes, the motorbike and some other equipment - but most importantly helped us with a smile on their faces. Being riders themselves they understood our task. We talked about our plans and they gave us some tips where to go, which routes to take and so forth. It was extremely helpful and nice all the time. We rode the motorbike for about 400km and it took us 14 hours...we were exhausted but had a blast, because the Moto Rent & Ride team provided us with everything we needed. Super happy with the experience! I rented a Honda Transalp for a day and it was amazing - the motorbike was in perfect condition, almost brand new. I rode around 300 km in one day through incredible landscapes. The owner was super friendly and helpful, and he speaks perfect Spanish, which made everything really easy. Superb experience with Moto Rent & Ride. We rented the Tenere 700 and the Tracer 7 and we were thrilled. From our first contact, Ligia provided excellent advice and information on choosing the right motorcycles. Once we arrived, Mihai's explanations and advice on the motorcycles' features and the route were very helpful. The motorcycles were in excellent condition with all the necessary equipment (USB ports, phone mounts, top cases, cargo nets, etc.). They proved to be a lot of fun to ride and perfectly suited for the Transfăgărășan and Transalpina routes. Thank you both for this experience, which we came all the way from France looking for and which exceeded our expectations.

After hearing about the legendary Transfagarasan road from Topgear and my father, I had a plan. Taming this wild beast of tarmac on a motorcycle. Because we arrived in Brasov short-term I had to get a Motorcycle from somewhere. We called several motorbike rentals but got no answer and driving to the addresses stated on their websites only lead to finding no rental places whatsoever. Not so with Moto Rent and Ride. After calling we got lovely Ligia on the line who told me I could get a motorcycle even on the same day. She can speak english very well so communicating was no problem at all. She even recommended me taking their Yamaha Tracer because it is the renter's favourite. After arriving we were greeted by Mihai who also speaks english very well. I told him about my plan to drive the Transfagarasan and he recommended my a scenic and curvy road through Poiana Marului to get there, which turned out to be very beautiful. The Yamaha Tracer is perfectly maintained and new and even comes with a topcase. It turned out to be the perfect motorbike for the Transfagarasan, the suspension handled the roads like Mike Tyson handles punches and the seating position fit to a 1.85m driver like me. Ligia and Mihai enabled me to have an unforgettable experience and I recommend everyone in need of a motorbike and an adventure to check out Moto Rent and Ride.

I can't speak highly enough of the rental shop's business (and of them as people!). I did a seven day solo trip (1770k - 1100 miles) on their Honda Hornet 750 and every day was amazing! Their rental was top notch... but their assistance and their care for me (as a woman traveler on my own) was what impressed me the most - what an amazing couple. I STRONGLY recommend the rental shop for your Moto rental needs!!
