We rented two motorbikes from the rental shop for a loop around Rwanda and a trip into Uganda to Lake Bunyonyi, and everything went perfectly. The motorbikes were reliable, comfortable, and had no issues during the whole trip. The rental shop regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well, recommended great routes, and shared some hidden gems that we would have otherwise missed. They were always easy to talk to and quick to help if we had any questions. I would definitely rent from the rental shop again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Rwanda or Uganda by motorcycle.

I must honestly say that this has been one of the best customer service experiences that I have ever encountered. I was recently visiting Kigali for 2 months and needed some transportation to get around. I was able to try out 2 different motorbikes (Bajaj boxer and TVS hlx). Both motorbikes ran flawless and when I had to bring one of the motorbikes in for scheduled service, the rental shop had the mechanic double check numerous things on the motorbike and even test drove it himself before the motorbike was released from service. A1 customer service, but most of all the team are genuine people. Thanks for everything and will keep in touch when I make Rwanda my home next year.

I want to thank the team at the rental shop, they were fantastic. They were easy to contact and responsive to any questions and were full of good advice about places to see and routes to ride. We did a two week self guided motorbike tour and rented the motorcycles from the rental shop. The staff are fantastic people, they gave us a great itinerary and route recommendations suited to our driving ability. They were always reachable during our travels. The motorbikes are not quite up to european standards, but perfectly suitable for the rough backroads of East Africa and we did not have any major issues with them even though we drove them hard. I can highly recommend renting motorbikes here.

I rented a Haojue TR 150 for 7 days and it was in excellent condition. Zero problems the entire trip. I travelled around Rwanda and parts of Uganda across varied terrain and the motorbike handled everything perfectly. The rental shop was very professional and reliable, right from my online booking, even before reaching Kigali. Highly recommended.

I rented a 125cc scooter from the rental shop and the whole experience was incredibly smooth from start to finish. From the first day I arrived, everything felt easy and well organized. The deposit was comfortable and could be done via Revolut, which I really appreciated. The staff was super friendly, took time to explain everything, provided a helmet, and made sure I felt confident before heading off. The contract process was simple and straightforward, and shortly after I was on the road with a scooter that had a full tank, all the necessary papers, and even a phone holder so I could use maps while driving. The scooter itself was in great condition and felt very smooth to ride, exactly what I was looking for. During my 8 day round trip through Rwanda, outside of Kigali, I covered a good amount of kilometers and had the chance to see almost the whole country. The scooter never let me down at any point and performed reliably throughout the entire journey. I had almost no issues during the rental. On the last day there was a minor incident due to the crazy driving style of some locals, but the rental shop was immediately there to help and supported me through the situation until I returned the scooter. I am very sorry again for the inconvenience caused. Even in that situation, everything that was in the rental shop's hands was handled in a super professional and calm way. The return process was also very flexible and comfortable, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, I was extremely happy with this rental and would definitely rent a scooter with them again. 10 out of 10.

Rented a motorbike for a selfdrive trip through Rwanda from the rental shop. Fair price, good working and maintained motorcycles that will get you pretty much anywhere (if your skills are good enough), and the staff will respond quickly basically 24 hours a day. Renting a motorbike with the rental shop is definately a great way to spend your time in Rwanda!

The guide is an awesome, super respectful and smart guide who put together the perfect motorcycle trip through routes that show the best of Africa's small towns and national parks, we got to see lions, rhinos, elephants, leopards, and so many more animals. The places we stayed at were amazing, with views of landscapes I never imagined seeing in Africa. The motorbikes look kinda small haha, but they're actually perfect for this kind of adventure, we finished the whole trip without a single problem. I'm beyond thankful for this one of a kind experience, and I'd totally do it again, no doubt. Every little detail was taken care of, and our guide was always ready to help with anything that came up. He also does 4x4 truck tours, so maybe next time I'll do that one with my family. Thanks a lot!!!!

The operator runs an organized, friendly and welcoming business. He was invaluable in helping me plan my solo motorbike tour of Rwanda & Uganda and the little 200cc motocross motorbike I rented never broke down despite some very rough roads. I would definitely use his services again!

It was a very good experience. The bike was in very good condition, serviced, with new brakes. It's the right size for touring Rwanda and for the sections of dirt road you have to take to explore all the regions. No mechanical problems, the side panniers were large and very useful.

Everything worked out perfectly fine - Scooter was in good condition and I got some advice on the most scenic routes around Kigali. Rental processes are smooth and well-oiled. I got my safety deposit back within 48 hours. Will come back when in Kigali and rent again.

I did a tour in Rwanda for 2 days and in Uganda for 3 days and it was awesome. The guides are very knowledgeable and show you things you don't see with classic tourism. The off-road experience is very nice with very good motorbikes. You can trust the motorbikes; even 200cc is enough (I drive a 750cc in France and here I never felt I would need more than 200cc). You can cross any off-road, even rivers with those motorbikes! The staff are very kind and helpful. I am very thankful for the entire trip I did! I will come back for sure!

I did six days solo in Rwanda and rented a 250cc motorbike through Motorbiking Rwanda. Good price, motorbike worked good the whole trip on and off road. This motorbike was perfect. Glad I didn't rent anything bigger because you rarely need the extra power. The shop where you pick up the motorbike is a house in a neighborhood. A little unconventional but everything worked out fine for me. They even had riding gear to borrow.

Excellent experience. Hired a motorbike on 2 occasions within a week. Both very well maintained and everything worked. Dominik and his staff all very helpful and professional. I can highly recommend the 650GS for a trip in Rwanda - very enjoyable on sealed and dirt roads. The Hawk is good fun too and also a rewarding experience. Importantly, I would also trust these guys at Kigali Motorbike Rentals to help if you got stuck somewhere.

If anyone ever wants to hire a motorbike and do a bit of an adventure in Kigali then this is your place!!!! I excellent motorbikes, super prices and the owner is just an all round nice guy!!! Very personable, doesn’t make you feel like you’re dealing with a business but more with a friend. They were also very flexible with me as I needed to return a motorbike out of hours and on an earlier date and nothing was a problem. I’ll for sure use them again

Recommended! Rented motorbike for a day to Gisenyi Congo border and back. The Bajaj boxer motorbike was in good condition with mobile holder for navigation. For riders: I followed the route Kigali- Ruhengeri-Gisenyi- Mubanza - Mushubati -Kigali, 400Km stretch in 24 hours. There is construction going on for 10km between Mubanza and Mushubati(as on June 2024) where you can cover in 30-40 Kmph. Except that, the road is perfect and guarded by policemen 24*7. There are cameras every 2 Km with limits 60 Kmph and 80 Kmph. I could cover Lake Kivu, Congo border , beautiful mountain villages, tea gardens, Gishwati national park on the way. You can also take lakeside Congo Nile trail from Rubavu to  Rushel Kivu resort, but it's off-road . Happy traveling!
