The motorcycles here are reliable and well maintained. Very few places in Taipei rent large motorcycles to foreigners; most require hefty deposits, often more than half the bike's market value paid a month in advance via PayPal. The motorbikes the rental shop offer are solid and dependable, and their rental deposits are very reasonable. (That's helpful because foreigners who are unfamiliar with local speed limits and traffic rules can be at greater risk of fines.) I've rented from them twice: previously a CB1100, and this time a Vstrom 650 for a week. The owner is professional and very responsive. Although there is no physical storefront, which might be slightly inconvenient for tourists as you need to make appointment and let them know the ETA. English communication was excellent and replies were quick, even late at night or early in the morning about questions regarding the rules and best places to visit or the road and weather conditions. As promised, our deposit was fully refunded one month after the rental. For a friend who rented a smaller motorbike and has a Taiwanese driver's license, no deposit was required. Fantastic service and a trustworthy owner, highly recommended.

My husband and I rented scooters from the rental shop in March. We made the reservation at the last minute and they were very helpful. We just picked them up at the designated spot and finished all the paperwork and paid the fees and deposit. Nice and smooth. Though the scooters are a bit dated, they functioned well and we rode smooth for our 2.5 days road trip. We will definitely rent from them if we plan our next Taiwan motorbike trip. Highly recommend for English speaking tourists.

Rented out the Honda CB1100 from the rental shop. The renting process was very smooth and straightforward. The motorcycle was very well maintained and tuned properly. Had no issues riding around the country. The owner was very professional and always replied quickly to all my questions and requests. I would absolutely book it from here again next time I am in Taiwan. Just a heads up: There is no physical location for this rental. Do not get worried when you reach the spot and it is an empty parking lot.

I rented a Kymco scooter for 4 days to reach Sun Moon Lake and Alishan National Park from Taipei. The owner was very kind, he brought the scooter near a Metro station so i could reach it easily. The scooter was in good shape, equipped with trunk and phone mount to look at the maps while driving. In Taipei i'd suggest to rent a smaller scooter like a 150cc but to reach other cities and for longer distances i'd definitely reccomend a big scooter or a motorbike.

This was a seamless, awesome experience. Pick up and drop off were great, deposit was refunded promptly after returning the motorbike and waiting the month period to ensure no speeding tickets. Riding around Taiwan was a blast, motorbike was in excellent condition, no problems at all. 10/10 would recommend!

A fantastic experience from start to finish. The countryside, vistas, and diversity of roads in Taiwan was amazing, as was the friendliness and helpfulness of the Taiwanese people. We got excellent service right from when we arranged the motorbike rental from New Zealand. The motorbike was in perfect condition and the staff made picking it up and dropping it back in Taipei seamless. Their communication is excellent. Recommend.

I had a wonderful time with my wife on a touring holiday using Taipei Scooter & Motorcycle's Yamaha X-Max. It was a great machine, a model that I was somewhat familiar with as it is the baby brother of the T-Max, which I used to own. The experience was one to remember, especially catching the periphery of super typhoon Ragasa, which made some of the riding interesting! The motorbike was a joy to handle and it was no sweat going from Taipei to Taichung, then onto Tainan and back to Taipei again. One great feature of the motorbike was its expandable SHAD top box - the same type as the one I had fitted to my T-Max. It meant that, with the underseat storage, there was loads of space for our luggage. Finally, Kulthati ws a pleasure to deal with and he even dropped the motorbike to our hotel the day before the hire - a nice touch. All in all, a thoroughly good experience and one that I recommend without hesitation. I hope to be back and rent again to see what parts of thev country we missed out on this time!

Eddy's responsiveness and completeness in our first-time scooter-tripping around Taiwan was everything we could ask for. Planned 2 months out and the guidance he provided me for the type of scooter to tackle Taipei-Yilan-Hualien-Taroko-HeHuanShan-Taichung-Taoyuan; was spot on. Enough juice to get up there in the mountains, but convenient enough to park anywhere that big motorbikes can't. Smax had disc brakes which was important for steep climbs and descents. He offered different helmets, option to mount the rear box or not, and was accommodating to bring forward a day of our rental last minute. Even gave us a ride to the nearest subway after we dropped off the scooters post-trip!! Look no further for a fuss free experience.

The owner has a very good and quick communication, he's friendly and is very accommodating to meet all my needs. I’ve rented the 125 Yamaha Axis for 4 days to travel around Taiwan’s mountain roads. The scooter was in great condition, brakes worked perfectly, and I had enough space to put my 35L backpack between my legs. Rented a 155cc Yamaha SMax scooter with Eddy for my 10 days solo round-the-island Taiwan motorcycle touring trip after reading numerous positive reviews. Was initially afraid that things might not go well due to a lot of factors such as the scooter breaking down or what not and I might be stuck somewhere unable to complete my journey. However, the scooter stuck with me throughout my 10 days adventure around Taiwan through thick and thin, under the hot sun or the rain, regardless of gravel or mountainous roads, all thanks to the meticulous care and effort Eddy puts into the maintenance of his scooters for his clients. Would definitely recommend anyone who wishes to do a round the island trip to rent from here as its value for money and the scooters would never fail you!

Mr. Kuthati was helpful and responsive with my queries. The rental agreement contract was shared earlier allowing ample time to understand the clauses. The scooter was delivered promptly in great condition - complete with a spare helmet, a phone holder and raincoats. Mr Kuthati was also flexible and very considerate for the safety of both parties, suggesting the return of the scooter to be a day later due to the typhoon. If you're looking for a scooter rental, this is your best option in Taipei. The owner is punctual, honest and he has the best prices. We did the 24 hour rental with 100km, we went over a bit but the owner didn't even charge us which is great. Check this place out if you're looking for a rental.

Travelled with my partner all over Taiwan with a smax scooter, for 10 days. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience throughout. Scooter went through many different terrains and still held up like a champ.
