I had an absolutely great experience buying my first motorcycle, a BMW G 310, from the rental shop. From the beginning, the staff were friendly, honest, patient, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right bike-not just making a sale. As a first-time rider, I had a lot of questions, and they took the time to explain everything clearly and made the entire process easy and stress-free. The staff were incredible to work with-professional, down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and just all-around great. They made me feel comfortable and confident about such an important purchase. The whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. You can tell they care about their customers and love what they do. I couldn't be happier with my BMW G 310 and the way I was treated. The rental shop made buying my first motorbike a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a motorcycle. Five stars all the way!

Edit: rental #3 done! Honda Rebel 500 this time around, really great machine to ride! I love that this one came equipped with a wind deflector which helped with comfort riding on the freeway. Definitely nicer having the parallel twin over the single, really enjoyed my ride! As always, it's a pleasure to interact with the team at the rental shop. The whole crew... yall are awesome! I'm happy to have a preferred local motorcycle rental shop in the books. Looking forward to giving them my business when it's time for servicing my own motorbike 🏍️ - Edit: rental #2 done! Honda Rebel 300, perfect motorbike for a beginner with short legs. Again what a great experience interacting with an all-star team. It always feels good to be at the rental shop and interact with them. Really great people to talk to, I've learned so much from them talking through my ride, what I've learned and could improve on, and generally just progression with my motorcycle journey. Being a returning customer, you do get discounts on the base rate, and I'm looking forward to my third one I'm planning for next month! - I'm editing and reposting my 5-star review with way more details now that I have firsthand experience of renting a motorcycle from the rental shop, and just how blown away I was by the overall experience. tl;dr -- local area intimidated total beginner squid had a very good overall first experience renting a moto and getting on the road for real As a brand new rider fresh off my M1 endorsement, I came in more nervous than I'd like to admit. The front desk staff was absolutely perfect for the job imo: compassionate, reassuring, and exactly what a first-timer needs before throwing a leg over a motorbike for the first time for real. The other staff were great too, really easy dudes to talk to and very helpful with sharing tips and other pointers for me. I'll be honest, I dropped the motorbike an equal number of times on both sides over the weekend, all at zero mph (embarassing af). Symmetrically bruised ego, perfectly balanced. Returning it felt intimidating, but the whole team handled it with zero judgment and genuine professionalism. I didn't try to hide anything and they made the whole process painless, albeit with some monetary penalties caused by my inexperience (I own up to this though). I'm leaving with my wallet lighter but with my heart genuinely fuller for the experience. The environment this rental shop creates for nervous beginners like me is genuinely rare, and it made me feel supported and motivated to come back and do better next time. Will absolutely be back for my next rental and keep getting ride time in, because real experience gained like I did is priceless. The human element of the rental shop is just cherry on top, and makes me feel good I'm supporting a local business. Shoutout to the staff. You made a squid feel welcome. 🦑

Review is for the rental department. The staff made my renting process hands down the best customer experience I've ever had. I've been riding for 10 years and this is the only rental place that I keep coming back to. They are very accommodating. For instance, once I was late for my pick and past their closing time, but I contacted the rental shop to see if they can wait for me and they totally did. They even threw a phone mount for free for my ride. Their motorbikes are well maintained and have a wide range of collection from Harley baggers to street triple RS to BMW GS. Price is decent but customer satisfaction is amazing so this is the only place I rent a motorbike from.

I brought my 2023 R-7 in to the rental shop for a Dyno tune and I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism, honesty, and workmanship demonstrated. There were a few items that needed adjusting besides the tune and the staff was on top of things from the moment they touched my motorcycle. Since the motorbike is strictly track only and it's going to be pushed to the limit, I left the rental shop feeling very confident with the work that was performed. Highly recommended anyone looking to get their motorcycle dialed in or serviced professionally to seek out this rental shop.

Had a great time buying a Ninja 400. Initially just came to the rental shop because of an ad and what seemed like a great deal for the motorbike. It was a great customer experience. The staff really put effort into understanding what I was looking for, my situation while keeping extremely professional. Highly recommend this business for your short or long term motorcycle rental needs! We arrived at the airport and acquired a very entertaining taxi ride for the super quick trip to pick up our motorbikes. The staff walked us through the whole slightly timely phone set-up part including paying for tolls. The motorbikes were out and ready for us and we were quickly on our adventure! Bikes were clean and very well maintained. We rode a little over 1k miles to Humboldt county and Trinity and back down to SF. Amazing riding and the motorbikes did as they should with no worries or issues. Would definitely use this company again. The only thing that left me feeling slightly bristled was the charge for insurance on the motorbike which was kinda significant. I understand they have to do this because it's a business, but it definitely doubled if not more the price of just renting the motorbikes. Overall a great experience, thanks to the staff! Ride on 🤘🏼

Nini Henry and Freddie were super helpful and accommodating. I had one of the best adventure experiences I’ve had in my life thanks to this team and this shop. Would definitely rent from here again. They made sure the motorbike were inspected and up to par for someone flying in and taking off (on the motorbike that is)

Brought my motorbike in for maintenance and new tires. Freddie helped me find and order road 4 tires. Upon inspection a fork seal leak was detected and the staff repaired that and help cleaned the fluids off my calipers preventing a potential hazard. They also did extra by adjusting my clutch lever and chains. Was a great experience. Ty nor Cal cycles!

She also gave me great tips about riding in the area. Henry walked me thru the motorbike operations and made sure I was comfortable before I hit the road. I rented a Triumph Tiger from Nor-Cal for three days and had a blast riding around northern California! Nini was so nice and helpful, and Henry did a great job getting the motorbike set up with touring accessories. I will definitely rent from them again the next time I am in the Bay Area.

Nini and Henry were a huge part of making a recent trip awesome. Diverse selection of motorcycles that are in great shape, the Triumph I rented was flawless despite some long days in the saddle. Henry got my GPS hooked up in a flash and gave me some valuable tips about the motorbike and local riding. Nini was super helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and thorough, and she also gave me some super valuable both local and not quite local riding options which came in clutch as I adjusted my itinerary on the fly. Location is a $15 uber/lyft from SFO or walkable from BART/Caltrain Millbrae as well (not a super short walk, but not hard if you're in good enough shape to ride a motorcycle). They seem like they have a great thing going here and I'm already plotting a return. No better way to explore an area, especially in California, than via motorcycle, and you can trust this team to get you set up properly. These people are passionate about motorcycles, and eager to share that with everyone.

I first went in to the shop to sit on some motorbikes and inquire about pricing, financing and just for some recommendations. I was very set on the kind of I wanted at first but Freddie was very welcoming and knowledgeable about motorbikes and gave me some food for thought. Even though I really had my heart set on a specific motorbike he was also very transparent and honest about his experience and what he recommended to me. The financing for me has always been scary but again Freddie was able to break it down to me in a way where I felt comfortable with the option. Like I said initially I went in not wanting to buy and just window shop but by the end I was ready to ride off into the sunset with one of these amazing motorbikes. In all this shop is friendly, respectful, helpful, accommodating and welcoming to those who walk into the shop. I hope my next motorbike comes from this shop. Thanks Freddie!

I had a great experience selling my motorbike on consignment with Freddie. I was about to move to the UK, so my time was quite limited—I literally had a flight the next day. I'm glad I didn't have to worry about handling the motorcycle paperwork. They managed to place it in the showroom and find a buyer within the set timeframe. One thing I didn’t know is that consignment is done in increments of a few months, so I recommend calling ahead to learn about the details. The way they performed all the necessary checks and services before handing the motorbike to someone else gave me confidence that the new owner would have a good experience too. Overall, Freddie and the team communicated very well and created a smooth, positive experience.

Overall great experience! Walked in for the first time and saw they had great selection of motorcycles. Fred had assisted me with purchasing my first motorbike. He was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to educating me based on my needs as a new rider in which led to me selecting my first motorcycle. Also, very professional, quick and painless process and within a few days was able to take my motorbike home. Very glad to have worked with him!

Overall great experience here. First time renter, seamless process and very simple. Nini was very helpful and knowledgeable from the motorbike all the way to recommending routes based on skill level to ride. Henry gave me a full brief on the motorbikes features and made sure I was comfortable on it before I left. Throughout the trip the staff checked in to make sure everything was going alright and maintained an open line of communication. 10/10 will be renting here again.

Friendly staff. Nini took the time to explain all the details about the motorbike (incl. how to fill the tank) and patiently answered my questions. They also have a restroom that you can use (only if you're a buying/renting though). I wanted to test ride the motorbike for a while before being confident enough to take it out. Henry got the motorbike to the back where we can ride the motorbike in a loop. They waited there to ensure I was confident enough while I did my loops. They also showed me some routes I can take to join the freeway. This place (& it's people) is a gem. I will definitely be back here for more riding.

Went into NCC to explore options for for upgrading to a larger motorbike, and was pleasantly surprised by the very warm reception. Freddie listened to my preferences and what I was hoping for in a new motorbike, and made some suggestions that fit within the parameters I shared. I identified a few options to come back and test drive or rent to hone in on what I may ultimately like to purchase. It was refreshing to be treated with respect as a woman shopping for a motorcycle, as I have had really negative experiences at other shops in the past. Highly recommend NCC and Freddie in particular for anyone seeking to rent or purchase a motorbike from a friendly and inclusive shop.

We booked a motorcycle rental with Nor-Cal. It was our first time doing anything like this and Nini made it seemless for us. She was so helpful. The motorbike was beautifully taken care of - it looked brand new. Henry patiently showed us everything about the motorbike and was so kind. We spent the week touring around California. What an amazing place. I would highly recommend you rent from this place if you are interested in doing a day ride or a trip. Start to finsh we could not have asked for better. They recommended routes, set us up with the equipment we needed and even checked in to make sure it was going well 5 plus stars from us!! A trip of a lifetime.

I needed to rent a motorcycle for the DMV test. Nini was my first contact into the whole process. She explained everything including available days they are able to drop off and pick up right to the DMV and this was before I even had to go in to do paperwork. I went in the next week to sign papers and she took the time to explain the drop off process, made sure I knew what to expect at the DMV including putting an extra registration and insurance under the seat just in case I forget my copy. She also made sure I was familiar with the motorbike. They provide the Grom which is a smaller motorbike than what I was used to but it was so comfortable and I was able to stay flat footed. She went through all the controls to make sure I knew where they were. The day of my test, I met up with Freddie at the DMV who was dropping off the motorbike. He arrived before the test time so that I was able to practice around the parking lot. He gave me helpful tips about the motorbike and the test itself. After going around the block for the Observation test, he was the first to congratulate me on passing and even took pictures of me.

Bought my first motorcycle from them few months back and I've been enjoying every moment of it. Called tons and tons of dealerships all around the bay area for a grom and they had the best price. Freddie helped me out with the process and it was super straight forward and easy. Definitely going to come back when I decide to upgrade to a bigger motorcycle.
