Known as the largest resort in the Turkish Riviera, Antalya, Turkey, has been a popular spot for vacationers. After flying into Fraport TAV Antalya Airport or sailing into the city’s port, many vacationers hop on their motorcycle hire or scooter hire and start exploring. It’s easy to see why.
The city is one of the more historic in the area and has been popular for its military history. That can be seen across multiple ruins, such as the majestic Perge, Aspendos, and Termossos. These are all quite close to the city, although you might still need a motorcycle hire, quad hire, or scooter hire to get around.
You’ll save a lot of time and fit in more sights by doing so. These aren’t the only places to see around Antalya, Turkey, however. Kaleici is one of the more well-known.
Often referred to as the city’s Old Town, it’s filled with multiple historic ruins and buildings to see. One place that you’ll need to visit is Perge, also known as Perga. Located about 15km east of the city, it should only be a short ride on your motorcycle rental, or a bit longer if going by scooter.
The historic ruins have been popular for a while. It’s also known for being the historic home of Apollonius, a famed astronomer and geometer. You’ll have plenty of places to see.
You should also extend your exploration to the nearby cities. Burder, Isparta, Kemer, Dinar, and Kas can all be beautiful places to see. There’ll be more than enough reasons to get a motorcycle hire while you’re there.
