Just returned from Kyrgyzstan after riding with SilkOffRoad Motorcycle Tours and had the most amazing tour. Everything was so well organised from the moment I arrived at the airport in Bishkek to getting me back there after the tour. Marat and his colleague Andrei were great guides and made every possible effort to ensure everybody had a great time. The motorbikes were well prepared and the Suzuki DL650's were ideal for the type of riding we doing, some of the off road was challanging although great fun for experinced riders. Kyrgyzstan is an amazing place and so pleased I've been and would highly recommend Silk Off Road if your thinking about visiting, I'll probaly be riding with them again on one of their other tours. Pamir Highway 2024 10 month's later and I'm back with SilkOffRoad tours riding the Pamir Highway. Once again everything is extremely well organised and we're getting the best possible care from Marat, Andre and the rest of the team, I've even got the same motorbike I rode in Kyrgyzstan. The Pamir tour is definitely tougher than the last with much of the off road not so much harder but just kept on going. Reaching Murghab was very special and I couldn't believe people live here due to the altitude which I definitely felt affected me although the landscape is amazing. I would recommend riding on any of SilkOffRoad tours and I feel I could be on a 3rd tour next year. Thank you Marat, Andre and the support team for another great trip.

The silkoffroadtours team, Marat, Andrew and Anton is well prepared and organized whole tour routes and accomodation and meals. They have run the tour over 20 years. Marat is extremely attentive to details, and Andrew, the riding guider is always cheerful and take cares all riders carefully, and Anton the mechanic is excellent to manage motorcycle to be ridden. There was no scheduled tour during this period, but we were able to organize a private tour, and Marat gave us a lot of help and advice in organizing the tour. The course he offered was fantastic, and he provided us with the motorcycle we wanted. Michael and Jun, who led us in Kyrgyzstan, were really great leaders and roadmasters. They were sincere about motorcycles and Kyrgyz nature, and their tours were varied and fantastic every day by day. Michael guided us to fantastic places every day, and he arranged for us to have a variety of things, food, and beds. Roadmaster jun has always led us safely. I've ridden motorcycles 240,000+km thru 80 countries on 6 continents as an independent traveler, so I was a bit tentative about participating in an organized moto tour. The Stans have eluded me, so decided to fly in and try going with a tour. To say it was great is easy. The reality is I'm already making plans with SOR and members of our group to do another tour together, next year, hopefully in Tajikistan.
