BMW R 1300 GS

Was very happy with my selection of self guided ride through South Island of New Zealand in March 2026!! The rental shop was in contact with us everyday, let us customize our ride before we started. I wanted to add a few places to our journey, which they did and was glad to get a few small hikes to waterfalls and gorges! The rental shop booked us very nice places to stay and took us on some great motorcycle roads!! My BMW 1300 was perfect for me! My riding buddy had a low tire, so contacted the rental shop, they were available for phone call, helped us with tire repair kit and even brought an extra canister of air to us in Queenstown! Tire was good rest of trip! Was glad we did self-guided trip, we could come and go when we wanted, stop wherever we wanted, stay as long as we wanted and eat when and where we wanted! The rental shop and their crew were great!!

Made a last minute decision (3 weeks out) to travel to NZ South Island and head to the Burt Munro Challenge. Saw the rental shop on official Burt Munro website and sent an inquiry. Within 36 hours of our initial inquiry, we had 12 days reserved on a BMW1300GS (driver/pillion, GIVI panniers and top box), had exchanged multiple emails and spoken via WhatsApp to discuss the route. The rental shop listened to our riding preferences (desired riding time/km each day, 1-2-3 night stays, other interests, etc...) and sent a thoughtful itinerary. We followed their recommended itinerary making our own bookings and planning our riding details - AWESOME! We did a nice loop that began/ended in Christchurch. All paved roads for us. We have rented in Croatia (x2), Italy, Spain (x2), South Africa. This has been one of, if not the best, of our rental experiences. Top notch service from the rental shop staff. We had a delay getting to NZ and the rental shop was super responsive and accommodating. Staff picked us up from the airport and took time to thoroughly review road safety and driving in New Zealand (lots of tips and advice). On return, they shuttled us to our hotel in central Christchurch. The motorbike was in excellent condition with new tires and a full tank of gas. No problems at all. You can't see it all - so don't even try to cram everything in 😁. Hoping to return for another and highly recommend the rental shop!!

Last minute decision to fly in to Christchurch from Canada and hire a motorcycle for a two week self guided tour. I contacted a few motorbike companies via WhatsApp and email. The rental shop was quickest with response to inquiries, we spoke about their expansive fleet of various motorbikes and options available. Within 36 hours we had arranged for motorbike rental, flights, and possible routes. The rental shop staff were very responsive to help us put this together on short notice, at a fair price. The rental shop picked us up at the hotel, had the motorbike outside and ready to go, offered a very good deal on rental gear (which was brand new, good quality) as we were not going to pack our own gear for the quick turn around (and save on airport fees). We own 3 motorbikes (GSA, KLR, and GL). The rental shop looked at the possible weather we'd be experiencing, and considering quite a variation in weather this time of year, and having my pillion. We decided to go with his GL. There is some wonderful technical, along with sweepers in southern NZ. Highly recommend the rental shop.

I have rented a lot of motorbikes, but this was the best experience by far. Last minute booking, able to pick up the motorbike the same day. The motorbike was in great condition, and I loved every second of it. Pick up was smooth while having a nice conversation. Very friendly and accommodating people! The pick up location is on the outskirts of Christchurch which is a huge plus in my book, within 20 minutes I was on awesome roads enjoying the ride. Can highly recommend, and will definitely be coming back! Thanks for making my trip one to remember!

Great service, quality motorbike and easy to deal with. After struggling to find a rental motorbike to take off the tarmac the rental shop was able to set me up with a Tenere. I was picked up from the airport and fairly quickly released to the wild on an immaculately maintained motorbike. When the weather turned sour and I was isolated on the wrong side of some road closures I was able to extend the rental and arranged some flexibility with return of the motorbike. On return I was given another ride back to my accommodation. Minutes away from the airport, I would use this company again and happy to recommend for others. Thank you the rental shop.
