Taro Explorer 300

All went good and Correct and a real good motorbike. The 300 cc was perfect to Cruise the islands and feels very smooth

Good: Phone representative was great. She was quick and helpful. The contracting was also professional. Bad: I booked the scooter for 24 hours but decided after a short ride (3 hours maybe) that I didn't need it. They charged me for the full 24 hours - would have appreciated a discount but okay no worries. I understand. Ugly: They would not accept the scooter because the tank was not 100% full. It was maybe 95% full. Even though I paid a full day, rode only a few hours, they were unhappy with this. So I said Ok. Let me pay you extra for the inconvenience. They said no. I needed to drive it to a pump, fill and come back. I thought this was rude and not necessary. Would not recommend if you have other options. Edit: Bumping this up to 3 stars because customer service called and as mentioned above they were great.

Overall, it was a good experience. I highly recommend exploring Praia and Santiago Island by motorbike. The ride from Praia to Tarafal is exceptional, but be warned, you need to be an experienced rider. At certain points in the mountains, the wind can be very strong and dangerous if you're not in control. As for the service, we were quite happy, but they weren't very accommodating, to be honest. I was supposed to get my motorbike at 2 PM, but I didn't get it until 6 PM, so plan accordingly. But things are handled fairly professionally.

The staff were very friendly, explained everything well, and told us immediately when a quad bike would be available again (the quad bike seems to be in high demand 😅). Everything went smoothly, and payment could be made in cash or by card. They even gave us tips on where to go.

We urgently needed a motorbike for four days, so we called and they said they had one available, so we went. The service was excellent and the process was quick. During our trip, we had a problem with the battery, and two very friendly mechanics came to fix it for us. The return was also very quick and without any issues. 100% recommended.
