The staff were very friendly, explained everything well, and told us immediately when a quad bike would be available again (the quad bike seems to be in high demand 😅). Everything went smoothly, and payment could be made in cash or by card. They even gave us tips on where to go.

We urgently needed a motorbike for four days, so we called and they said they had one available, so we went. The service was excellent and the process was quick. During our trip, we had a problem with the battery, and two very friendly mechanics came to fix it for us. The return was also very quick and without any issues. 100% recommended.

We rented a 125cc scooter on Santiago Island for 4 days. We went to Tarrafal from the city, a 1 hour and 30 minute drive, and everything went perfectly. On the way back we had a small problem that the Rent Scooter & Quad team had nothing to do with, and we sent a message asking for help. They promptly offered to help us and even compensated us for the hours we were stopped. Thank you very much, and certainly if you visit Santiago Island again or another island where they operate, they will be our first choice.

We found this place online and saw it had good reviews, so we decided to try it out and give our opinion. My partner and I went to Santiago for a few days to explore the whole island (from Praia to Tarrafal). We decided to rent a motorbike from this place. First of all, the guy who helped us was incredibly friendly from the very beginning. He explained all the prices and different motorbikes. We decided to rent a 125cc. He let us test ride the motorbike to see if we were comfortable with it and felt safe. He also gave us lots of tips for getting around the island so we could be careful. He explained everything about how the motorbike worked. Honestly, everything was great during the days we had the motorbike, and we didn't have any problems. Even the return process was super fast! If I were to return to this island, I would definitely rent from this place again.

We rented a 300cc scooter for the day… I had to return it because of a defect on the front. They replaced it without any problem. P.S.: Always make a video of the vehicle you rent and never forget the rocker panels! Watch out for cows!

A nice little 555cc Chinese Mitt motorcycle, it did the job for 6 days on challenging roads and even off-road, with magnificent scenery, a very friendly rental team, and perfect biker weather. Absolutely fantastic! 🤙 They're also based in Mindelo.

I have been renting motorbikes and cars around the world and I can assure this was one of the smoothest experiences I ever had. Staff is very friendly and responsive. The scooter I had was almost new, and I had absolutely no problem with it. It was a 300cc and it can take you basically everywhere on the island.

I rented two motorcycles in June and July of 2024. Between those two trips, I went to São Vicente, São Antão, and Fogo. The first time, my wife and I rented a 300cc Taro motorcycle to Cidade Velha and the Praia area. Then in July, I rented a 125cc Taro motorcycle. We went to Tarrafal via the Assomada road and returned to Praia along the coast. I had no problems; both the pick-up and drop-off went smoothly.

Sent message requesting details on hiring a Scooter. David replied promptly and arranged to meet following day at 9am. Showed me the different types of motorbikes, chose an appropriate model. Received all the necessary instructions and completed all the paperwork. Straight forward and hassle free. All in good condition, brilliant for zipping round the island. Varying engine sizes to suit. An extremely reputable, friendly, and fluent young scooter/quad rental owner who has (unusually for rental companies) very well-maintained and fully functional scooters! For example, a 125cc scooter costs €30 for 24 hours, including insurance! According to the owner, you can drive a 125cc scooter here in Cape Verde with a European car driving license! A deposit is blocked on your credit card, which is refunded upon return of the scooter. He's also happy to provide you with fair taxi fares back to your hotel and will help you negotiate if needed! Excellent service guaranteed! Great hospitality! I'd gladly rent from him again! 👍👍👍
