Walked in and managed to snag their last motorbike, a Metropolis 400. As a Chinese traveler in Italy - especially Sicily - you get used to navigating a lot of unwritten rules and vague signage. Parking rules here seem strict, yet designated scooter spots are surprisingly scarce. My first few parking attempts honestly made me super anxious and break a sweat. But after observing the local street dynamic and researching how traffic enforcement actually works here, I quickly adapted to "the Sicilian way" of parking. Despite all the chaos on the roads, the rental shop's instructions and guidance were absolutely clear, thorough, and organized. Rode alongside the coastline; the three-wheeler was stable and had plenty of power for climbing the hills around Palermo. It definitely drew a lot of curious eyes, being about 1.5 times wider than a typical scooter! The front desk lady was cool, helpful, and spoke good English.
I really have no words to praise Sanja, who is very kind and helpful.
Just follow the rental terms and everything will be fine. Thank you for the great scooter. We drove all over Sicily without any problems. We will definitely be back next year.
Despite a little hiccup in the beginning, the whole rental experience was nice and easy. Lovely lady from behind the counter had hard times to get sorted all things that were going against her. We got there in the end and had a really good time on the rented motorbike. Also had a good laugh and banter during the rental procedure 😉 I recommend the rental shop!! The,,Y" couple 😉 Ps. Please change visors on your helmets 😉
It was a great experience - the staff was so kind with us and provided us with a great spot to visit with the scooter (the places + the road to). Great service - the scooter is perfect. Once I will be back for sure will rent it again (for more days). Thank you the rental shop.
