Rented the Cafe Racer for the weekend for a trip to Celestun (from Merida) & loved the freedom that having my own wheels gave me to get around & sightsee in my destination. It's an awesome little motorbike, was well maintained, & worked great. The owner Julian, and his staff Walter, were both great to deal with and went out of their way to be accommodating. Definately recommend and would rent from them again.

Nice and easy way to rent a scooter. They bring it to you and then when you see the machine and sign the contract you pay it. It Is pretty convenient to rent and return. Do it give tou the opportunity to cover know the city move deeply. High recommend.

What a nice ride ! We rented a scooter at Merida Scooter and are willing to share the good experience we had. Juel was kind and professional, the little scooter made the distance at maximum speed of 55km/h (we were 2 adults sitting on that little blue scooter). We went to Progresso on the first day and to a cenote near Uman on the second day, without any problems. I would strongly recommend Merida Scooter : Good service, Professional way of doing business and Willing to help. The ride includes helmet and basic insurance coverage. For the price it’s a « win ». Fantastic service, great motorbike. Moto Mérida made it so easy. I was jonsing for a ride, watching everybody scoot around on motorcycles. I’ve been here for a week visiting family and most of my cousins ride. I was able to rent the Honda XRE for a trip out to the coast and through the back roads. The motorbike was perfect. It handled fantastic and I will definitely be renting again when I’m back.

Awesome experience. The owner responded immediately and made the whole experience smooth and wonderful. I rented a cafe racer to get around while in the area. Bike was perfect. Owner was very helpful and friendly, and speaks English for those that don't speak Spanish. Highly recommend.

I am very satisfied with my experience with them. I was able to rent a motorcycle (200cc) for my boyfriend and I with short notice (one day). They responded right away after my first WhatsApp text to them. They were able to bring the motorcycle from Merida to Progreso making everything easier and smoothly. They also brought two helmets for us. Price was great and the guy who brought the motorcycle was really nice and answered all our questions. We will definitely rent from them again.

Julian took the time to bring me the motorbike all the way from Merida! I’m a huge avid motorcyclist who’s done Vietnam twice and Julian’s help when any trouble arose was on point! He cares a lot about his clients and making sure they have a fun experience while in Merida! The cafe racer was amazingly fun zipping around the Yucatan and honestly there’s no other way to explore Mexico like a local! Fairly priced, efficient, and professional. Rent the motorbike, you won’t regret it!

Julian drove the cafe racer all the way from Merida the day I arrived so I could enjoy my 25 day stay. Honestly the motorbike didn’t look like much initially but once you start enjoying the wind and got in the groove of visiting all the beautiful beach side towns on it… I came to realize this was the perfect vehicle for this trip! Enough power to pass but the right size not to feel intimidating. Julian was very communicative when any problems arose, fairly priced and efficient. Just know that there is no store front in the progresso location… he painstakingly takes the vehicle to you, so understand it’s a labor of love as there aren’t many people that rent motorbikes in the region. Zipping around in a cafe racer and exploring the Yucatecan Jungles is the penultimate experience and as an avid motorcyclist… that’s done Vietnam twice… you won’t get a better price or experience. So yea rent the motorbike and enjoy a ride of your lifetime.

Easy to rent, they answer through what's up super fast, insurance included in price! The motorbike was great and so pretty me and my friend made it all the way the uxmal and to some cenotes on the way back.

This is APPOINTMENT ONLY. Simply reach out on WhatsApp, schedule a time to meet and pick up your scooter. $5000MEX deposit (we used credit card) and it will be refunded upon return. We waited 2 days for the refund that is all. We paid about $40CAD per day. I'm sure they have better deals for longer term rentals. The motorbike was fine. Breaks needed to be replaced but not completely gone. We loved the freedom. Would recommend connecting with Julian, his English is great!

Great experience. Merida Scooters is quick and easy. My scooter was in fantastic shape and I was given recommendations for places and things to do that were worth. 600 pesos per day. Not the cheapest but worth it. Merida has many interesting places around that are not trivial to get to. A Scooter may be the best option to get around without spending heaps on tours or Ubers.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. GREAT PRICE. I rented a scooter from Mérida Scooters’ Progreso location, while I was in Uaymitun for three months in 2024. It was the perfect (AND FUN) transportation solution for trips to Progreso and Chicxulub Puerto, to take care of my laundry, go shopping and out to eat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for snow birds and long term renters in the Progreso, Yucatán area.

THERE IS NO STOREFRONT IN PROGRESO! This was unclear and we wandered around the Google Maps location for a while looking for it, local store owners in the area had no clue what we were talking about. Once I sent them a WhatsApp message the whole process was very smooth! Deybit was great! We organized rental for the next day. The meeting spot is the Google map location. We paid $5000 pesos deposit on card and $600 peso in cash for 24 hours per scooter). Scooters were in great shape, came with helmets and a full tank of gas. We asked Deybit about our riding plan, he gave us some tips/ confirmed our plan was reasonable based on road conditions and speed limits etc. We rode to Chuburná on the first day to go to Isla Columpios. The next morning we got up early to go to Xcambo Archeological site and had it all to ourselves. Instructions for return were clear, questions were answered promptly and deposits were returned the next day (despite being told it would take 3 day). We took photos/video of scooters beforehand and upon return. We had an amazing experience and would definitely use their service again, without question!! My wife and I rented a scooter for the day to do some sightseeing along the coast--- Xcambo ruins, salt farm, pink flamingos, etc. We scheduled the pickup a few days ahead of time, met at the time/location, and went through the paperwork process quickly and smoothly. I have my motorcycle license, but it took a trip around the block to get accustomed to riding this before my wife got on. Once we were out of town, the highway was pretty quiet and we mostly rode along the shoulder at 60 km/hr. An hour ride at high speed (for a scooter) gets some vibration, but it was tolerable, and the trip itself was very fun. Helmets and a cargo box (doubling as a passenger backrest) were included. Our full deposit was refunded 3 days afterward.

We rented a scooter for several days as the rental shop gave us a really great deal and we couldn't refuse. The scooter ran really well, held our backpacks in the seat and trunk. It sat my husband and I well and was very comfortable. We were able to travel around the whole city and to Progreso as well.

We found this place on Google Maps and were able to connect through whatsapp. We were set to pick up a scooter for 3. When we arrived, we got upgraded to the better scooter and decided to keep it for 4 days. We got a very good deal, so we couldn't refuse. Paid for the scooter up front and put a security deposit on our credit card. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to get around town and have some fun!

seamless experience, they followed through with a booking that was complicated and expensive at other locations. They were very communicative, and through WhatsApp we were able to coordinate the logistics of the rental far in advance. I can’t wait to plan another trip knowing i have these guys in my contacts. Motorcycle was reliable and well maintained. Price quotes was exactly what i was charged, which makes planning and budgeting much easier, and the deposit was fair (and quickly returned). We rented a scooter for two weeks and it was amazing. Early during the rental period, we had an issue with the scooter and as soon as we told Julian , he came right away with another one. Only caveat with the scooter is that if you’re two people and doing long distances, you will have to fill up the tank and pump the tires frequently. It’s a simple heads up. If I come back to Progreso, I will rent from Julian.

Rented a scooter here very easily! The owner Julian is very relaxed and helped us a lot. The shop was closed when we randomly arrived and be arrived in 10 minutes. Deposit money was refunded in 2 working days. I would definitely rent here a scooter again.
