Yup, just do it! I went around India with a friend and we decided to rent 2 motorbikes at the rental shop. I should say that the experience was great, but it actually went beyond great. The owner and the whole team were amazingly welcoming. We felt from the start that they would provide us with assistance if needed... But we didn't need to. The motorbikes were in really good condition and we basically just did the classic maintenance routine check ups. The company can provide gears if you don't bring your own, or redirect you to professional shops if you want to buy any. From someone who wish to rent a scooter for a day to someone who wants to go around India, I strongly advise you to rent your motorbike there. We'll be back!

We rented a Himalayan 450. The motorbike was in top notch condition. We did roughly 1600 km trip chennai-pondicherry-rameshwaram-kodaikanal-chennai. The Bike gave no issues. The staff is very helpful. They also gave us good helmets, an Axor helmet. They promptly returned our deposit. Renting motorbike from here is highly recommended.

The deposit amount (5,000) seemed slightly high but they are very professional and gave instant refund on Gpay once you return the scooty in good condition. Took the Hunter 350 for a short yelagiri trip. Bike was new and the condition of the motorbike was top notch. Whole process was hassle free. The owner himself suggested route for the trip which was best part of the trip. The route was very scenic and blissful to ride. We booked the motorbikes for rent from abroad. The staff was quite responsive from the beginning. When we arrived at the motorbike store, they let us keep our luggage at the store for 3 weeks. Supplied all the necessary things for us to get going. Bikes were in mint condition and we did not have any problems through the 3 weeks of riding. Highly recommend this rental shop.

Rented a Himalayan 411 for 2 days, paid ₹1000 booking and ₹5000 deposit, both refunded promptly. They do have 100km/day limit with ₹5/km extra which is mentioned while you rent. Forgot to collect RC & insurance, but they shared it immediately via whatsapp. Met the owner while returning the motorbike, he seemed genuinely interested to have an in-person conversation regarding the vehicle and the service which was provided by this branch. Great overall experience, highly recommended calling and booking as website had mentioned himalayan 450 in stock but upon cheking it was not available, will consider again for rental.

Got the Himalayan 450 for a weekend ride and the motorbike quality was top notch. They have maintained the motorbike in the best condition. I got a chance to speak with Vikram who manages this when I returned my motorbike. He is a proficient motorcyclist and has great knowledge on motorbikes. He test rides and ensures the motorbike is in good condition before offering it to you. You’ll get the motorbike with a full tank and in the best state. I’d highly recommend checking them out if you are looking to rent motorbikes.

Good service and got a very good condition motorbike. PS: I had a feeling that the motorbike rental guys will cheat when returning the motorbike since my friend had a very bad experience. SFA just kept the trust unbroken. They have given me a very good motorbike and I have taken care of it and gave back without any damage. They haven't asked a question or try to identofy something and ask money. I got the deposit back with no confusions. Only thing I would suggest is, you should consider increasing the per day limit to 200km especially if the motorbike is renting out for long ride purpose. Keep up the good work guys.

First time visiting Chennai and really wanted to take a ride by motorcycle... so I found Date a Bike and everything works fine, easy way to rent, very honest person to deal with...
