Riding with Sardinia Rides wasn't just a motorcycle tour! I wanted to try the Himalayan for quite some time, and this was the perfect opportunity to ride it both on paved roads and off-road. As a beginner rider, I really appreciated how Federico carefully tailored the trip to match my skill level, making me feel comfortable and confident throughout. We explored parts of Sardinia that would be hard to discover on your own - riding through the 'sugherete' forests, along stunning scenic roads, and stopping at authentic ‘agriturismi’ where local people preserve their traditions and treat you to amazing food. The landscapes were breathtaking, and I’m still dreaming about them. This wasn’t just a motorcycle tour; it was a true journey into the hidden gems of Sardinia, with the chance to connect with local people and experience a way of life that’s becoming rare in today’s globalised society. Without question the best money I have spent in years. Seeing Sardinia by motorcycle is the most spectacular and immersive way to experience the island, and doing so with an incredible local guide made that experience much richer and more memorable than I could ever achieve on my own. I was lucky enough to tour the island for 5 days with Federico from Sardinia Rides, both on and off road. The street riding was the most fun I’ve ever had on pavement, and the off road riding was as good as it gets anywhere in the world. Rented, ultimately extended my rental with Federico multiple more days. The island riding is amazing, the motorbike had zero issues and incredibly efficient. Federico offers a great service, he was flexible and offered any guidance, accommodations to and from airport as well. I will return and rent with him again in the future.

We spent an UNFORGETTABLE 3-day father/daughter weekend on and off road motorbikes: professionalism, thoughtfulness and kindness from a human point of view. Fun and adventurous routes, and spectacular and varied views from a motorcycling point of view. An experience that we would like to repeat to discover new areas of Sardinia (also on a gastronomic level...), and that I also recommend to women who are new to off-road riding. Federico is a careful and prepared guide, who identifies perfect itineraries depending on the level of each person, guaranteeing great satisfaction to everyone! Many of us know and appreciate Sardinia for how splendidly it shows itself in the summer, but this time I wanted to go beyond what I already know. After a period of research, the choice fell on Sardinia Rides. The friendly SR crew led by Federico, took us to enchanting places, where the island still shows its rustic and sometimes wild side, panoramic points where you can admire from the mountains to the sea, fascinating historical/archaeological sites. To enjoy all this, we rode excellent roads at a “good pace”… yes, the ones we motorcyclists like so much… and then dirt roads, sheep tracks, long off-road stretches that are sometimes even technical (there is an alternative if you want); excellent food on a farm or packed lunch. Royal Enfields? Don't be prejudiced, and these “small” bikes will win you over; the Himalayan 411 is simple, unstoppable and expresses a healthy retro taste when riding, while the Himalayan 450 is high-performance, comfortable and absolutely modern.
