Arriving into Lisbon Portela Airport puts you within an easy ride of Setubal, Portugal if you rent a scooter, motorcycle or quad bike. Setubal makes for a phenomenal day trip, or you may even want to spend a night and explore the surrounding region. The city of Setubal itself dates back to the 12th century BC, so you'll find plenty of history and architecture as you cruise through the winding streets.
Top sights include the Convent of Jesus with its elaborate tilework, the turreted medieval castle of Sao Felipe overlooking the harbor, and Livramento Market to pick up some fresh fish for lunch. Venturing just outside Setubal leads you to the serene surrounding nature. Ride along the coastline to soak in dramatic ocean views and stop for a dip at Praia da Figueirinha beach.
Inland you'll find the hilly Serra da Arrabida Natural Park, where you can ride through dense greenery and spot endemic wildlife. Yes. The vast majority of our rentals include basic insurance, local taxes and any road fees. You have the option to add 'extras' (ie. One-Way rental, GPS, GoPro, etc) but we'll clearly list any additional costs involved before you book your motorbike/scooter.
In most occasions the maximum you might be charged is the security deposit. If you included Premium Insurance with your booking, then your security deposit will be protected. When you pickup up your rental, our local rental partner will explain the procedure to follow and emergency contact details in the event of an accident - your safety always comes first.
